The public is invited to the Magnolia Fire Department’s Grand Opening Ceremony this Saturday, September 18, 2010 from 9am to noon. The location of the event will be at 18215 Buddy Riley in Magnolia which is next to the Magnolia City Hall.
The new 29,000 square foot fire station will serve as the main fire station for the district and will house the administration offices,maintenance facility, a weight room and total training facilities.
The cost of the new facility was close to $5 million dollars which was financed through existing revenue and without a tax increase.
