Montgomery County Emergency Services District #10, which provides funding and equipment for the Magnolia Volunteer Fire Department, has entered into an agreement to purchase a 2014 Ferrara Igniter Fire Engine from the Ferrara Fire Apparatus Company, one of Americas premier fire truck manufactures. The new Fire Engine is expected to be delivered in late 2014 and will be housed at Magnolia Volunteer Fire Station 183, which is located at 26555 Nichols Sawmill Road and Butera. The Magnolia Volunteer Fire Department serves over 165 square miles of Montgomery County and responds to more than 5,000 emergencies per year.
