According to DPS Trooper Justin Lopez just after 8:00 Monday morning Jason Taylor of New Caney was southbound on FM1485 at Gene Campbell in his 2005 Chevrolet pickup when after a long night of work he dozed off.
Kendra Henry of Conroe was also southbound in a 2000 Ford Tarus and was turning right onto Gene Campbell when Taylor rear-ended her, veered off her vehicle and hit a northbound Walmart 18-wheeler that was northbound on FM1485 turning left from the left turn lane onto Gene Campbell enroute to the Walmart Distribution Center.
Both Taylor and Henry were transported to the hospital in stable condition. The truck driver was uninjured.
Kenneths towing removed the Tarus. EMC removed the Chevrolet pickup and LaBuff towed the 18-wheeler.
