May people in Liberty County and EMC are reporting a loud explosion. The Enterprise Petroleum Products has had a major explosion. Mt. Belvieu is approximately 10 miles north of Baytown off SH146.
No injuries have been reported as of yet. ABC Channel 13 has a helicopter overhead and is currently feeding live video.
This facility is is one of the largest gas storage units in the area and sits on several large salt domes.
With winds SKYEYE reports smoke is moving over Liberty County and heading for Montgomery County
There is no evacuations in the plant area at this time.
