HOUSTON COUNTY, TX- at 9:07 p.m., Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) officials responded to and are currently investigating a two-vehicle major crash on SH 19, approximately one and a half miles South of Lovelady on SH 19.
Preliminary crash information indicates a 2010 Chevrolet passenger car was traveling Nouth on SH 19 when the vehicle reportedly drove across the center of the roadway and struck a southbound 2003 Hummer (limousine) carrying multiple passengers head-on.
Initial reports indicate the drivers of both vehicles were transported to a Conroe hospital by medical helicopter for treatment. A passenger in the Chevrolet was transported to Timberland Hospital in Crockett with unknown injuries.
None of the passengers in the limousine are reportedly injured.
This crash remains under investigation. No additional information is available at this time.
