Harris County – On Nov. 27 at approximately 7:24 p.m., Westfield Fire Department, and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office requested Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office (HCFMO) investigators to assist with a set fire at a restaurant in the 11900 block of Aldine Westfield, Houston, TX. A civilian witnessed the two suspects fleeing from the scene and called 911.
“On Nov. 28, HCFMO investigators arrested Baldomero Bedolla and Jose Barron for their involvement in setting a fire to the exterior of a restaurant,” said Chief Investigator Dean Hensley. “HCFMO investigators with the help of Harris County Sheriff’s Department were able to detain the suspects, and one suspect confessed to HCFMO investigators.”
During the course of the investigation, investigators were told by a restaurant employee that one of the suspects became angry when the restaurant refused to serve him any additional alcohol. The suspect created to come back and burn the place down.
