On January 20st, 2016 deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the 600 block of Danbury Park Ln. in reference to a weapons disturbance. Upon deputies’ arrival, the complainant reported that while in his yard, a male drove up in a vehicle and stopped in front of his residence.
The male then pointed a gun at him and threatened to shoot him. The male stated that the suspect then drove off to a nearby residence. Deputies went to that residence and located the suspect, identified as Jonathan Ortiz and recovered the handgun that Ortiz used to threaten the complainant.
In addition, deputies’ also found Ortiz in possession of 13 grams of Methamphetamine.” Ortiz was arrested, charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Possession of a Controlled Substance, and booked into the Harris County Jail. Ortiz’s bond was set at NO BOND out of the 177th District Court.
