In February 2025, detectives from Constable Ryan Gable’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit launched an investigation into the possession of child pornography. This inquiry led to the identification of Michael Mayeux from Conroe, TX, as the individual responsible for possessing such material. A search warrant was executed at Mayeux’s residence, confirming that he had child sexual assault material in his possession. Following this, detectives arrested Mayeux, who now faces five felony charges for Possession of Child Pornography. These charges are categorized as first-degree felonies due to the existence of videos showing child sexual assault. Mayeux has been booked into the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Jail, where he is currently held on a bond of $250,000.
