At 11:30 am MCSO responded to a reported shooting on White Oak Orchard at Hilltop Drive in the Deerwood Subdivision. They arrived to find a man in his mid-twenties shot multiple times in the face, neck, and hand. MCHD transported him to HCA Conroe in critical condition. At first, it was thought to be a drive-by but witnesses say the vehicle was stopped and the male was close to the vehicle which was believed to be a blue Nissan Rouge or a Nissan Mirano. Anyone with information is asked to contact MCSO Major Crimes Unit at 936-760-5876.
