The dump truck driver with Making Roads LLC had pulled to the shoulder of the road on Legion at Thelma due to a mechanical issue. He had just left the rock yard at that location. He was under the truck between the rear wheels when the truck rolled forward onto him. Another driver was behind him and witnessed the incident, as did a citizen. DPS is investigating the scene and still trying to put the pieces together after they talk to the victim. He was taken to Kingwood with severe abdominal trauma and then transferred to Memorial Hermann at the Medical Center by Life Flight.
