Just after 3 pm Wednesday DPS troopers and MCHD responded along with North Montgomery County Fire Department to a single vehicle crash on Cude Cemetery just south of FM 1097.
Troopers determined that the driver of the Jeep Wrangler, Brian Lee Jacobs, 44, of 55 Southwind Drive in Montgomery was driving north on Cude Cemetery when he left the roadway on the east side of the road. He then over corrected and crossed over to the west side of the road where his vehicle remained in a forward movement for almost three-hundred feet before hitting a ditch and flipping. Jacobs who was not wearing a seatbelt was transported to Conroe Regional Hospital in critical condition where he later died.
