Just after 11:30 p.m. Tuesday reports of a single car crash on SH 105 near Millmac in Cut and Shoot. North Montgomery County Fire arrived first on the scene to find a Mazda on the north side of the ditch along SH 105 East with heavy damage. The 45-year-old male, who was seat belted was partially ejected. That male was transported to Conroe Regional Trauma Center where he remains today in critical condition. DPS Troopers spent almost 2-hours investigating the crash. They still have not determined what caused the driver to leave the roadway. When the vehicle did leave the roadway, it went into the ditch backwards and hit the embankment on the ditch causing heavy damage , the vehicle then flipped. An off duty police officer driving by saw the vehicle and reported it. It is believed to have been there for some time. DPS is asking anyone who may have seen the crash to contact them.
