At 11:30 pm Montogmery County Hospital District Medics and North Montgomery County Fire responded to a reported major accident on SH 105 East near Crockett Trace. It was reported a Honda Pilot was traveling at close to 100 miles per hour when it left the roadway and flipped multiple times. It was reported the driver was ejected. Units arrived on the scene and found the vehicle, the male driver was about fifty feet in front of it in critical condition but talking. He was transported to Conroe Regional Hospital. DPS Troopers investigated the crash. SH 105 was partially closed for close to two hours. DPS determined the Honda Pilot was eastbound at a high rate of speed when it left the right shoulder of the roadway it continued eastbound in the ditch striking several culverts and then flipping at least seven times. The vehicle came to rest over 500-feet from where it left the roadway and in front of a mobile home sales lot. Troopers need to talk with the driver to determine why he left the roadway.
