Just after 2 am on Tuesday a Harris County Precinct 8 Constable was northbound on I-45 at Edgebrook when a Toyota Camry with Florida plates passed him at 120mph. A pursuit ensued. The pursuit continued north on I-45 to I-10 then east to Waco Street where the driver u-turned and got back on Interstate 10 to US 59. From there he was at speeds of up to 130mph all the way to Livingston. Houston Police assisted as they passed through Kingwood, Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constables then assisted. As units passed through Splendora the primary Precinct 8 car was spiked as the vehicle continued north. As they came through Livingston, Livingston Police were able to spike the two right tires which disabled the vehicle ending the 92-mile pursuit. Montgomery County Precinct 4 Deputies quickly took Jabreel Al-Amin Castleberry, age 25 who resides in Michigan, into custody. He told officers that it was a rental car he was driving to Memphis. As he was being cuffed he announced this chase will make him big money on his next rap song. He wasn’t happy when he found out he was going to Montgomery County Jail instead of Houston. He will be charged with felony evading. Where most likely his Harris County bond would be a mere $100, a Montgomery County Judge set his bond at $125,000.
