A massive manhunt continues in the Colony Ridge Subdivision in Liberty County. Late the after two men, believed to have known each other got into an altercation on County Road 5740. The altercation ended with the victim being stabbed to death in his truck at the home. The suspect fled across the road down a drainage canal which goes into hundreds of acres of woods. At first Liberty County launched drones into the area and brought in K-9s to start searching. Homeland Security and DPS had already been in the subdivision from an earlier immigration operation. The Texas Rangers have been called in to assist. The suspect is described as a heavy-set male with a white shirt with a vertical blue stripe and blue jeans. At 7 pm DPS remains on the scene with multiple Troopers. The suspect is believed to be affiliated with MS-13 and has out-of-state warrants. Liberty County. Dogs and horses have also been requested to the scene from the Polanski Unit in Livingston.
