MCSO Arrests Porter Man for Aggravated Kidnapping and Indecency with a Child

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX- On Christmas Day, just before 5 p.m., patrol deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 4000 block of Conner Mills Court in Porter, Texas, following a report of a kidnapping involving a 15-year-old female.

Deputies learned that the victim had taken her dog for a walk and failed to return at her usual time, prompting concern from her parents. Using parental controls to track the victim’s cellphone, her father located the phone in a secluded, partially wooded area in Harris County, approximately two miles from their home.

Upon arrival, the father discovered the victim and her dog inside a maroon pickup truck with a partially nude man. The father assisted his daughter in escaping the vehicle and immediately contacted law enforcement.

Investigators determined the suspect had allegedly threatened the victim with a knife and abducted her from the street. Witnesses provided deputies with a detailed description of the suspect and vehicle. Deputies later located the vehicle and identified the driver as 23-year-old Giovanni Rosales Espinoza of Porter.

Detectives with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit responded to continue the investigation. Espinoza was taken into custody without incident and charged with Aggravated Kidnapping and Indecency with a Child. He remains incarcerated in the Montgomery County Jail with no bond set.

Sheriff Wesley Doolittle issued the following statement:

“Christmas is a day meant for joy, but this man chose to shatter that joy by targeting a child. I am incredibly proud of our deputies and detectives who worked tirelessly to ensure this dangerous predator was swiftly apprehended and removed from our streets. Rest assured, your Sheriff’s Office remains vigilant every hour of every day to keep your families safe.”

The investigation remains active and ongoing, and no additional information is being released at this time.

Anyone with information related to this case is urged to contact the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office at 936-760-5876 and reference case number 25A410316, or contact Multi-County Crime Stoppers at 800-392-7867.
