District 5 – Lt. Gary Welch (Northwest County)
November 22nd Deputy Fluellen responded to an establishment in the 19300 block of SH 105W for a Disturbance between a male and female. Before officers arrived it was reported that both subjects had left in a vehicle. Several minutes later officers spotted the vehicle and stopped it. During the investigation officers learned that the male had a suspended driver license. Officers arrested the male for Driving While License Invalid and placed him into the Montgomery County Jail.
November 24th Sr. Sgt. Smith responded to a residence on South Pine Lake in regards to Burglary of a Habitation. It was reported that someone had entered the residence and stolen numerous articles of electronics and personal items. This case is under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division.
November 25th Deputy Garner was dispatched to Sea Island Dr. in regards to a Disturbance between two females. Upon arrival officers located both females and learned that one of the suspects had two outstanding local warrants. The suspect was arrested and taken to jail.
November 26th Sgt. Spiller was dispatched to the 18000 block of SH 105 W in regards to a Burglary of a Building. Upon arrival officers learned that someone had forced entry into the business and stole property. This case is active and under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division.
November 26th Deputy Rex was dispatched to a business on SH 105 W. in regards to Found Property. Upon arrival deputies learned that an employee had found a gun in a bathroom. The deputy took custody of gun and submitted it into the Crime Lab as evidence.
November 27th Deputy Garner responded to a residence on Park Way Drive in regards to a Burglary of a Vehicle. The Complainant reported that someone had entered his unlocked vehicle
