MCSO BLOTTER FOR JUNE 7, 2011

District 1 – Lt. Jim Fleming (North County)

A 35 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 3:11pm, May 30, in the 13300 block of Moorehead Road by Deputy A. Booher for two theft by check warrants out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was investigating a disturbance. The female was transported to jail.

On May 31, Deputy C. Santoro was sent to a residence on Roy Harris Loop in reference to an assault. The Deputy met with a female complainant who advised that she and her two companions, a male and female, were returning from a concert when the female started calling the complainant names. The male started yelling and then the female punched her several times with a closed fist. The male pinned her down and punched her several times. The 38 year old male was arrested and the 29 year old female was arrested. Both were charged with assault and the male was found to have an open warrant out TDCJ for parole violation.

On June 1, Deputy S. Squier observed a vehicle traveling on FM 3083 in excess of 100 miles per hour. The Deputy found that the male driver was operating the vehicle with an invalid driver’s license. The male passenger, a minor, was found to be intoxicated. The 24 year old male driver, from Conroe, was arrested and charged with driving with license invalid, purchase of alcohol for a minor and reckless driving. The 19 year old male passenger, from Conroe, was also arrested and charged with public intoxication and minor in consumption.

On June 1, Deputy S. Degner responded to Hwy 105 and McCaleb Road for a possible DWI. The male was also found to have an outstanding theft by check warrant out of Harris County. The 45 year old male from Houston was arrested at 8:39pm, charged with DWI and the warrant and transported to jail.

On June 1, Deputy S. Degner was notified of a family violence assault at a residence on Newton Circle. The Deputy met with a female complainant who advised she and her husband had been in a verbal argument and he started pushing her and pinned her against a wall. The male was intoxicated and fled prior to Deputies arriving. The male was stopped a short time later and was arrested.

On June 1, Deputy C. Holcomb was sent to a residence on Hindo Drive in reference to a family violence assault. The Deputy met with a female complainant who stated she and her brother got into an argument that turned physical. A pushing match began and the male got behind her and wrapped his arm around her neck and choked her. The 21 year old male from Conroe was arrested and transported to jail for assault.

A 54 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 11:39pm, June 1, in the 10000 block of Dogwood Lane by Deputy K. Underwood for an assault warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy had received information on the male’s location. The male was transported to jail.

On June 2, Deputy S. Degner along with other Deputies were dispatched to a reported robbery of an individual on Adcock Acres Dr. The male complainant claimed a female had robbed him at gun point and hit him on the head with the gun. As the investigation continued it was learned the alleged victim was trying to get another male in trouble with the police. The 36 year old male was arrested and charged with false report to a peace officer.

On June 3, Deputy K. Berger stopped a vehicle on a speeding violation in the 10900 block of FM 1484. The male driver and the female passenger were both found to be intoxicated. The 49 year old male from Montgomery was arrested at 11:21pm, charged with DWI 3rd, and the 47 year old female, also from Montgomery, was arrested and charged with public intoxication. Both subjects were taken to jail.

On June 4, Deputy S. Squier stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 3300 block of Walker Road. The male driver was found to be operating the vehicle with an invalid driver’s license. The male had prior convictions for this offense. The 32 year old male from Cleveland was arrested at 1:55am and transported to jail.

On June 5, Deputy S. Degner and other Deputies were dispatched to the 15100 block of Starboard. The male complainant advised a male had come to his residence and pulled a handgun out and fired it into the ground then pointed the gun at him and another person. The male then ran off but deputies found him at his residence. The 51 year old male from Willis was arrested charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm by a felon.

District 2 – Lt. Brady Fitzgerald (South County)

On May 30, 2011, Deputy Wilkerson was dispatched to a Disturbance on Sawdust Road. Upon arrival, Deputy Wilkerson met with all parties involved and found that the suspect, a 30-year-old male had started honking and yelling obscenities at people standing in the parking lot. At one point the suspect exited his vehicle and hit one person. The suspect was taken into custody and charged with Assault.

On May 30, 2011, Deputy Zavorski served an Order of Arrest Warrant on Oak Arbor Drive. Deputy Zavorski took a 19-year-old male into custody for the warrant and transported him to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On May 30, 2011, Deputy Wilkerson was waved down by an employee at 305 Sawdust Road regarding a Disturbance inside the business. The suspect, 32 year old male from Spring, had assaulted another customer. The complainant did not want to press charges for the assault and the suspect was taken into custody charged with Public Intoxication.

On May 31, 2011, Deputy Zavorski was dispatched to an apartment on Borough Park Drive in reference to a Family Violence. The complainant stated that she and her husband had been fighting earlier in the evening and he had been shoving her. They separated for a while and but her husband got angry again and punched her in the face. The 25-year-old male was taken into custody for Assault Family Violence and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On June 1, 2011, Sr. Sergeant Russell arrested a 22-year-old female from Ocean Springs, MS during an Assault Investigation. The suspect was found to have an outstanding felony fugitive warrant and was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On June 1, 2011, Sergeant Barber and Deputy Rascoe, while on patrol in the area of Rayford Road and Canyon Gate, observed the suspect’s vehicle leave the roadway and travel through a ditch. Sergeant Barber identified the driver as a 40-year-old female from Spring. The suspect had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from her breath and had difficulty walking. The suspect was taken into custody and charged with Driving While Intoxicated.

On June 6, 2011, Deputy McKee was dispatched to a Welfare Check on Coachlight Lane. Upon arrival, Deputy McKee located the vehicle and found the suspect, 17-year-old male from The Woodlands, passed out in the car. Several empty beer cans and cases of beer were located in the vehicle. The suspect was taken into custody and taken to jail.

District 3 – Lt. Darrel Conn (East County)

On 05/26/11, Deputy Guion responded to an Assault in Progress on Ruth Drive in New Caney. Upon arrival, investigation revealed that a 64 YOA white male had been providing alcohol to minors when he made sexual advances towards one of the juveniles which in turn assaulted the 64 yoa male. The male suspect had be transported to the hospital before being taken to jail for Indecency with a Child and Providing Alcohol to a Minor charges.

On 05/30/11, Deputy Harman responded to the Porter Wal-Mart in reference to a 27 yoa white male that had taken beer and meat items out of store without paying for merchandise. Deputy Harman caught up with the suspect next door at the Kroger Store where he was taken into custody for Theft M-B.

On 05/31/11, Deputy Dunn stopped a motorcycle in the 11700 Block of Sweet Clover just north of Splendora for a traffic violation. A check of the operator found to be a 22 yoa white male revealed that he had ten (10) active traffic warrants which were confirmed as subject was taken to jail.

On 06/01/11, Deputy White responded to the 23500 Block of Sorters Road in Porter where investigation revealed that a 17 yoa Hispanic male had been caught while burglarizing a residence and had been held by witnesses until deputies arrived. The suspect had removed a window screen and had pried open a window to steal items from the residence. Suspect was arrested and charged with Burglary of a Habitation.

On 06/03/11, Sergeant Miller and Deputy Azwell while conducting an on Linda Lane in the Porter area discovered one of the occupants of the residence to have an outstanding warrant for Theft by Check. The male subject was taken into custody and transported to jail.

On 06/03/11, Deputy Guion made traffic stop on Ann Street in New Caney for disregarding a stop sign. Investigation revealed that the vehicle had a fictitious / altered registration and a fictitious/ altered motor vehicle inspection sticker. The 29 yoa white male driver was arrested for described charges, both Class B misdemeanors and transported to jail without incident.

On 06/03/11, Deputy Birch made a traffic stop on a yellow ATV in the 23600 Block of FM 1485 in New Caney where it was found that the 53 yoa male driver had three (3) active warrants out of JP Pct 4 which were confirmed and subject was transported to jail.

On 06/03/11, Deputy Walker was dispatched to a residence on Petty Walker Road for an Assault “Family Violence”. Investigation revealed that a 19 yoa white female had assaulted her boyfriend. Female was arrested and transported to jail without incident.

On 06/03/11, Deputy Dunn made traffic stop on Loop 494 in area of Farris Green in Porter for defective tail lamps. During the investigation a passenger in the vehicle was found to have illegal prescription pills in his pockets. Marijuana was found in the vehicle. This male was arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance and marijuana.

On 06/04/11, Deputy Harman was dispatched to a residence on Pickering Road for an injury to a Child. Investigation revealed that a 59 yoa white male grandfather had lost his temper with his 14 yoa grandson and assaulted him causing minor injuries. The grandfather was arrested and transported to jail.

On 06/04/11, Sgt Altemus was assisting Deputy Pickerill with an investigation in the 20900 Block of Stevens in New Caney where he found that a 50 yoa white male at the location had an active blue warrant for his arrest. After confirmation, the subject was arrested and transported without incident.

On 06/04/11, Deputy Walker was dispatched to the 19100 Block of FM 1485 (Wild Country RV Park) in New Caney in reference to an Assault “Family Violence”. Investigation revealed that a 33 yoa Hispanic male had assaulted and choked his common law spouse causing injuries to her face and body. This male subject was arrested without incident for Assault F-3 and transported to jail.

On 06/04/11, Deputy Dunn made traffic stop in the FM 1485 East in New Caney. Upon approach of the vehicle, a strong smell of marijuana was detected and the driver, a 44 yoa white male was found to have an active warrant out of Liberty County. Marijuana was located in the vehicle. Subject was charged for possession of the marijuana as well as the warrant as he was transported to jail.

On 06/05/11, Deputy Guion was dispatched to the area of FM 1314 and Rolling Hills in Porter for a vehicle disturbance. Upon arrival in the area the driver of vehicle, a 21 yoa, was arrested for DWI and transported to jail after failing several sobriety tasks.

On 06/07/11, Deputy Rippley was investigating a Welfare Check in the 22100 Block of Caney Drive in New Caney when she found that a 27 yoa while male had an outstanding warrant out of Polk County for Possession of a Controlled Substance. The subject was transported to jail without incident.

District 4 – Lt. David Park (West County)

On June 6th Deputy Provenzano was dispatched to the Armadillo Woods Subdivision in reference to a Disturbance. Upon arrival the Deputy was advised that a 30 year old female had been drinking with her brother and some of his friends. The female got into an argument with her brother and scratched him. It was determined that the female subject was the aggressor in the fight and she was taken into custody and charged with Assault.

On June 4th a 22 year old male subject was found in a public parking lot in the 28000 block of Autumn Drive passed out in the passenger side of a vehicle. The subject admitted to being intoxicated. The Deputy placed him into custody for Public Intoxication and transported him to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.

On June 3rd Deputy Provenzano was dispatched to a residence on Autumn Lane in reference to a Noise Disturbance. Deputy Provenzano met with the homeowner, a 33 year old female subject. A party was being held for her daughter graduating 8th grade. The female subject was supervising the juveniles at her residence. Fifteen underage juveniles had been drinking ranging from 12 years old to 20 years old. The adult female was taken into custody for Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. All fifteen juveniles were issued Minor in Possession citations.

On June 1st Deputy Miller and Deputy Herman were dispatched to a residence on S. Dogwood Lane in Magnolia in reference to a Disturbance. Upon arrival the Deputies found a 32 year old male sitting in his car in the driveway. When the subject he opened the door of his vehicle to get out a set of Brass Knuckles fell onto the pavement. The Deputies placed him into custody and transported him to the Montgomery County Jail.

On May 21st Deputy Corley was dispatched to a Theft on Sweetwater Drive in Magnolia. Upon arrival Deputy Corley Made contact with a 51 year old male subject. The subject was checked through dispatch and found to have an active Felony Warrant out of Harris County. Deputy Corley placed the subject into custody and transported him to male booking in Conroe.

District 5 – Lt. Gary Welch (Northwest County)

June 1st Deputy Pugh was dispatched to the 15900 block of SH 105 W in regards to a male causing a Disturbance in the parking lot. Upon arriving the male was located and detained. During the investigation it was discovered that the male was in possession of a controlled substance. The male was arrested and placed into the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

June 1st Sgt. Peckne responded to the 19900 block of Peel Rd. in regards to Burglary. The Complainant said someone forced entry into his outbuilding and stole several power tools and an ATV Vehicle. This case is under investigation by members of the Criminal Investigation Division and Auto Theft Task Force.

June 2nd Deputy Jackson responded to a residence on FM 2854 in regards to an Assault. It was determined that a husband and wife had been involved in a physical altercation at which time the female reported being strangled by her husband. The male was arrested for Assault (Strangulation) (Family Violence) and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

June 2nd Deputy Farmer conducted a Traffic Stop on a vehicle in the 300 block of Fish Creek Thoroughfare. Upon making contact with the female driver it was suspicioned that she may be intoxicated. After conducting several standard field sobriety tests the female was arrested for Driving while Intoxicated and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

June 6th Sergeant Peckne conducted a Traffic Stop on a vehicle in the 16100 block of SH 105 W. for driving in an erratic manner. Upon conducting the investigation it was learned that the female driver had an outstanding warrant through Liberty County for Driving While Intoxicated. The subject was arrested on the warrant and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)

On May 31, 2011, Deputy Epperson was flagged down by a motorist, who stated that she was almost hit by a driver headed eastbound on SH242. Deputy Epperson located the vehicle and attempted to conduct a traffic stop; however, the driver refused to stop. A short distance later, the driver pulled over and Deputy Epperson made contact with the driver, 35-year-old male from Conroe. Deputy Epperson observed an open beer bottle in the cup holder and a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage . The driver was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated at the conclusion of the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On June 4, 2011, Deputy Neal responded to a Motor Vehicle Accident on College Park Drive and Gosling Road. During the course of the investigation of the accident, the driver, a 23-year-old male from Conroe, was found to be in possession of marijuana. The suspect was taken into custody, charged with Possession of Marijuana, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

Shoplifting Arrest(s):

5/30 – Deputy Ross arrested a 47 year old female from Madisonville for Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspect attempted to take $360.40 worth of merchandise from J.C. Penney’s. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

5/31 – Deputy Rodriguez arrested a 22 year old female and a 32 year old female, both from Conroe for Theft at 3040 College Park Drive. The suspects attempted to take $117.89 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart. The suspects were transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

6/2 – Deputy Houstoun arrested a 14 year old male from The Woodlands for Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspect attempted to take $86 worth of merchandise from Urban Outfitters. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Facility without incident.

Public Intoxication Arrest(s):

5/31 – Deputy Conklin while working foot patrol was told by the doorman at Baker Street that an intoxicated customer was asked if he needed a cab, when asked to leave due to his intoxication. The customer refused, and then staggered off. Deputy Conklin located the suspect, 32-year-old male from Montgomery. The suspect had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath, red glassy blood shot eyes, slurred speech and was unsteady on his feet. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail, charged with Public Intoxication.

6/3 – Deputy Conklin was on foot patrol with Deputy Suarez when they observed two males; one was urinating while in public. Both subjects had red glassy bloodshot eyes and a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. Both suspects, 21-year-old male from Zachary, LA and 34-year-old male from Houston, were taken into custody charged with Public Intoxication.
