District 1 – Lt. Jim Fleming (North County)

On August 3, Deputy J. Parker was notified of a possible burglary in progress call in the 700 block of Biloxi Court. The Deputy met with a female complainant who advised she had heard her door bell ring. She did not answer the door and then heard someone trying to pry open the back door. She at this time called 9-1-1. During the call she heard a window break. Deputy Parker and several Pct. 2 Constable Deputies attempted to locate the suspect. A short time later a female subject walked onto the scene to get her vehicle which was parked in the cul-de-sac. After questioning the female she was detained. Evidence located at the scene pointed to the female as being the suspect sought. Damage at the scene was approximately $1500. The 31 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 11:00am, charged with felony criminal mischief and transported to jail.

On August 3, Deputy J. Kader was sent to the 1500 block of Shellee Drive in reference to a family violence assault. The Deputy met with a female complainant who advised she had been assaulted by her husband. The female had her hair pulled and had been scratched on her upper arm. The male prevented her from calling 9-1-1. The male left the scene but was detained in the 1100 block of Peach Street. The 39 year old male was arrested at 6:46pm, charged with assault, interference with an emergency call, a failure to appear civil warrant out of Montgomery County and a traffic warrant out of Conroe PD. The male was transported to jail.

On August 6, Deputy J. Hodges was dispatched to the 14800 block of Spica Court in reference to a family violence assault call. The Deputy met with a female complainant who stated her husband and son had gone to a bar and that she had gone there later. She and her husband got into a verbal argument. After leaving the bar the female approached her house from the back and said her husband was standing at the gate holding it closed not allowing her entrance. She fell trying to open the gate and her husband pushed the gate into her face. The female had much bruising on her facial area. The 46 year old male from Willis was arrested at 3:02am, charged with assault and transported to jail.

On August 6, Deputy K. Berger responded to the area of Crystal Forest and Sand Chester in reference to vehicle sitting in the middle of the road causing a traffic hazard. On arrival the Deputy found a male sitting in the passenger seat of the vehicle. The male was intoxicated. The 36 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 4:20am and transported to jail.

A 52 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 7:04pm, August 6, in the 7300 block of Dusty Lane by Sgt. E. Ward for a DWI 3rd or more warrant out of Rains County. The Deputy was investigating a family violence call. The male was taken to jail.

On August 6, Deputy K. Berger was sent to the 15700 block of East Williams in reference to an aggravated assault call. The Deputy met with a female complainant who advised she and her boyfriend had gotten into an argument which led to him hitting her in the face with a closed fist. He continued to hit her and grabbed her by the throat and choked her until she could not breathe. He held a knife to her throat and threatened her with it according to her 11 year old son. She had a small cut under her chin. The son had attempted to stop the attack when he was knocked away by the male. During the scuffle the boy received a cut from the knife on his hand. The 38 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 11:10pm, charged with two counts of aggravated assault and transported to jail.

On August 7, Deputy J. Hodges was notified of an assault call in the 16500 block of Emerson Circle. The Deputy met with a female complainant who stated her son had come home drunk and had threatened her with violence. She stated she did not wish to pursue charges. During the conversation the Deputy noticed a dark colored vehicle being driven on Emerson Circle, attempting to pull into the driveway, backing up into the street and then pulling back in. The female said it was her son. The Deputy made contact with the male and observed him to be intoxicated. The 42 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 10:33pm, charged with DWI 2nd and taken to jail.

On August 8, Deputy K. Underwood was dispatched to the 6200 block of Woodland Lakes Loop in reference to a family violence assault. The Deputy met with a female complainant who advised she and her husband had gotten into an argument and he threw her down on the ground. He got on top of her and grabbed her throat and also grabbed one of her hands and bent the fingers back. The 40 year old male from Willis was arrested at 4:15am and taken to jail.

District 2 – Lt. Brady Fitzgerald (South County)

On August 2, 2010 at approximately 2:50 am, Deputy Hernandez was dispatched to a Welfare Check at 316 Sawdust Road. The reportee stated there was a male passed out in his vehicle in the drive thru lane of the restaurant. Deputy Hernandez arrived on scene and made contact with the driver, White Male 24 yrs old from The Woodlands, who was slumped over behind the wheel, passed out with money in his hand. Lying in plain view was a multicolored marijuana pipe and two prescription bottles with the labels scratched off. After contacting Poison Control, the pills inside one of the bottles were identified as Adderall. Deputy Hernandez contacted the District Attorney’s Office and charges were accepted for Possession of a Controlled Substance. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On August 3, 2010 at approximately 2:15 am, Sergeant Hammons was dispatched to 25510 Brookhaven Drive in reference to an Intoxicated Driver. The reportee, an off-duty DPS Sergeant, was southbound on IH-45, in her personal vehicle, following a vehicle that was swerving all over the road. She also observed the vehicle to have a flat tire on the driver’s side. Sergeant Fountain contacted the MCSO dispatch to have a Deputy conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle. Sergeant Fountain followed the vehicle to the location on Brookhaven Drive, where the suspect, White Male 22 yrs old from Spring, exited his vehicle and attempted to walk away from her. Sergeant Hammons arrived on scene and made contact with the suspect and Sergeant Fountain. The suspect became physically ill several times while speaking with the officers. As the investigation progressed, the suspect would be very respectful and then start yelling and cussing at his family, who were standing nearby. It was determined that the suspect was highly intoxicated and was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated.

On August 4, 2010, Deputy Sibille was dispatched to a Family Violence Past call in the 29800 block of Geneva Drive. Upon arrival, he met with all the parties involved in the incident. After gathering all the information for the investigation, Deputy Sibille contacted the District Attorney’s Office and charges were accepted against both parties. The complainant, White Male 46 yrs old, had received scratches to his arms and back in the incident. The arrested, White Female 36 yrs old, stated that the complainant had grabbed her wrists. Both parties received citations for Assault Family Violence. The female suspect was arrested due to there being an active Protective Order prohibiting her from assaulting the complainant. She was placed into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe without further incident.

On August 6, 2010 at approximately midnight, Deputy Everton conducted a traffic stop in the 16900 block of Glen Eagle Drive. During the course of the traffic stop, it was found that the driver of the vehicle, White Male 25 yrs old from Conroe, TX, was in possession of 45 Lortab pills (35 grams). The driver was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail charged with Possession of Controlled Substance, a 3rd degree Felony.

District 3 – Lt. Darrel Conn (East County)

On 8/6/10 Deputy Ashmore was dispatched to a disturbance on Midline Rd. Upon his arrival he spoke with a male who stated that the suspect took his vehicle without permission. Witnesses observed the suspect pull into the home and collide with the home. The suspect had been detained by officers and showed signs of intoxication. The suspect was given field sobriety tests and determined to be intoxicated. The suspect, a 19 year old female was arrested and charged with DWI. The original complainant did not wish to pursue charges against the suspect.

On 8/9/10 Deputy Guion was dispatched to the 19000 block of Petty Walker Rd. for a disturbance in progress. Upon his arrival he met with one of the parties in the disturbance who appeared extremely intoxicated. It was reported that he had been running around the house with a machete and was cutting holes in the walls and furniture. Upon being detained the suspect was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. The suspect, a 22 year old male was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.

On 8/10/10 Deputy Ashmore was on patrol on Ford Rd. and observed a vehicle cross the solid yellow line and almost strike the patrol unit. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle and the driver showed signs of intoxication. Further Field Sobriety Tests were administered that confirmed that the driver was in fact intoxicated. The driver, a 40 year old female was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated.

On 8/10/10 Deputy White was dispatched to a suspicious vehicle call in the 26000 block of Palace Pines. Upon his arrival he located the suspicious vehicle and then observed it commit several traffic violations. A traffic stop was then conducted and contact was made with the driver. The driver showed signs of intoxication but refused to perform any field sobriety tests. The driver refused to comply with the Deputy and attempted to get in the vehicle. After a brief struggle the female was detained in handcuffs. The female was then arrested for DWI and transported to Kingwood Emergency Room for a mandatory blood draw due to prior DWI convictions. After the blood draw the female driver, a 39 year old female was transported to jail and charged with DWI (3rd or more).

District 4 – Lt. David Park (West County)

On August 8th Deputy Zavorski was dispatched the High Meadow Ranch neighborhood swimming pool in reference to two unoccupied vehicles. Upon arrival Deputy Zavorski attempted to locate the owners and heard noises coming from inside the locked pool area. The deputy located a 20 year old male subject and two juvenile females hiding in the men’s bathroom. Both females told the deputy that they had snuck out of their homes without consent from their parents to meet the male subject. The male subject was taken into custody and charged with Criminal Trespass. The subject was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On August 7th Deputy Zavorski was dispatched to the Sonic Drive-In on Decker Prairie Road in reference to a Welfare Check. A carhop at the Sonic had called advising a male subject was trying to order food. The subject appeared to be intoxicated and she was concerned about him driving away. Upon arrival the Deputy made contact with the driver a 28 year old male subject and observed him to have slow slurred speech and poor balance. On the driver’s side floorboard in plain view were several white pills. There were prescription bottles of various controlled substances in different locations of the vehicle. The subject was taken into custody and charged with Possession of Dangerous Drug and Possession of Controlled Substance.

On August 6th Deputy Herman while on a traffic stop made contact with a 19 year old white male subject. The Deputy had Dispatch run the subject identification and was advised the subject had an open warrant out of Guadalupe County. The subject was placed into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On August 5th Deputy Suarez was advised through Dispatch of an Attempt to Locate: A Reckless Driver. A Harris County Pct 6 Unit was following the vehicle. Deputy Suarez observed the subject’s truck passing on the shoulder at the intersection of FM 1488 and FM 1774 and activated his emergency equipment and conducted a traffic stop. The subject was ordered to exit his vehicle at which time the subject began cursing and yelling. After interviewing the Harris County Pct 6 Deputy it was determined the driver had placed the public and the occupants of his car in danger. The subject was arrested and charged with Reckless Driving and Resisting Arrest/Detention.

On August 3rd Deputy Suarez was dispatched to the 36000 block of Little Thorn in reference to a Disturbance Call. Upon arrival the neighbors advised that a female subject had just left the location and headed towards Primrose Lane. Deputy Suarez searched the area and discovered the subject crouched down on the side of the road. The Deputy detected the strong odor of alcoholic beverage coming from her breath and she was unsteady on her feet. The subject was placed into custody for Public Intoxication and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and transported to female booking.

On August 1st Deputy Zavorski was dispatched to the 30000 Block of Oakwood Lane in reference to a Family Violence. Upon arrival Deputy Zavorski met with the Complainant (son) who was bleeding. The Complainant advised his father had started arguing with him which escalated into shoving. The Deputy talked with both parties and after observing the Complainants injuries the subject was arrested and charged with Assault Family Violence and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

District 5 – Lt. Don Lacy (Northwest County)

On 08/04/10 Deputy Farmer responded to the 12900 block of Pearson Rd in regards to Criminal Mischief and Assault. The female complainant reported coming home to find her live-in boyfriend intoxicated which lead to an altercation where she and her teen age son were assaulted. The boyfriend also intentionally damaged several articles of furniture inside the home. The boyfriend was arrested for Criminal Mischief, two charges of Assault and an outstanding Felony Warrant with extradition from another state for Probation Violation. The subject was placed into the Montgomery County Jail on undetermined bond amounts.

On 08/04/10 Deputy Rex conducted a Traffic Stop in the 200 block of Paradise Dr. The male driver appeared to be intoxicated and was subsequently administered several field sobriety tests. Investigation revealed that the subject also had a handgun concealed inside his vehicle without authorization. The subject was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Unlawful Carrying a Weapon. The subject was placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

On 08/06/10 Sergeant Peckne conducted a Traffic Stop in the 15000 block of SH 105W. Upon making contact with the male driver it was suspected that he was intoxicated, therefore several field sobriety tests were administered. The subject was subsequently arrested for Driving While Intoxicated 3rd offense, Felony 3 and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

On 08/08/10 Deputy’s Thompson and Garlock responded to a residence on Walden Rd. in regards to an Assault. Investigation revealed that a husband and wife had been involved in a physical altercation resulting in the male being assaulted. Afterwards the female attempted to call 911 but the call was interrupted when the husband took the phone from her. The female was arrested for Assault Family Violence while the husband was arrested for Interference with an Emergency Telephone Call. Both individuals were placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

On 08/09/10 Deputy Garner responded to the 16600 block of E. Hammon Dr in regards to a Disturbance. Investigation revealed that a male and female had been involved in a verbal altercation. It was determined that no offense had occurred but upon checking wanted status on both subjects the male was found to have four outstanding warrants through the City of Conroe. The male individual was arrested for the four outstanding warrants and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)

On August 2, 2010, Deputy Pternitis was dispatched to a Fraud call at 3115 College Park Drive. The complainant stated that she received a call from Walgreens in reference to a prescription from her office that they had a question about filling. It was determined that the prescriptions for Hydrocodone and Vicodin were both fraudulent. During the course of the investigation, it was found that the suspect and two other persons had picked up prescriptions on several dates since February of this year. The suspect, White Female 38 yrs old from Conroe, TX, was taken into custody charged with Fraudulent Possession of Controlled Substance Prescription. She was transported to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe without incident.

On August 4, 2010 at approximately 3:30 pm, Deputy Roberts was dispatched to 1201 Lake Woodlands in reference to an Animal Cruelty call. Upon arrival, Deputy Roberts met with the complainant who stated she and her daughter had observed a small dog locked in a vehicle. The windows were partially down, but the dog seemed to be in distress to them. The complainant stated she waited approximately 30 minutes before calling the Sheriff’s Office to see it the owner would show up. Mall security stated they received notification of a dog in a vehicle at 2 pm. The owner White Female 27 yrs old from Conroe, arrived on scene at approximately 4:15 and stated that she had left the windows open and water in the car for the dog. Deputy Roberts contacted the District Attorney’s Office with the details of the situation. Due to the amount of time the dog was left in the vehicle, the heat (104+) and the witness accounts of the welfare of the dog, charges were accepted for Cruelty to Animals. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident. The dog was released to the owner’s boyfriend.

On August 8, 2010 at approximately 2:30 am, Deputy Nedrow arrested White Male 40 yrs old from the Woodlands, for Child Endangerment. The suspect was found passed out behind the wheel, with the vehicle engine running, the gearshift in drive and a child asleep in the backseat. The suspect did not immediately wake up until Deputy Nedrow had repeatedly beaten on the window. After conducting his investigation, Deputy Nedrow found that the suspect was not intoxicated. However, since there was a child in the vehicle and the suspect was not in control of the vehicle, it presented a danger to the child. Charges were accepted by the District Attorney’s Office for Child Endangerment and the suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

The following Shoplifting arrest(s) were made at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive:

8/7 – Deputy Rodriguez responded to 1201 Lake Woodlands in reference to a 13 year old White Female Conroe, TX resident and a 15 yr old White Female Conroe, TX resident, being detained for shoplifting. The two suspects attempted to steal approximately $274 in merchandise from Sears. Both suspects were transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Facility in Conroe.

The following Shoplifting arrest(s) were made at 3040 College Park Drive:

7/28 – Deputy Wilkerson responded to a Shoplifter in Custody call at Wal-mart. Upon arrival, Deputy Wilkerson met with Loss Prevention officers who stated that three suspects were seen walking around the store and placing items in a cart. One of the suspects placed three Dell Computers in the shopping cart. Another then placed a large bag of dog food on top of the computers. The suspects separated at that time, and the one with the cart then passed all points of purchase without making an attempt to pay for the merchandise. Loss Prevention Officers recovered 21 items valued at $1,881.56 from the suspect, Black Male 38 yrs old from Angleton, Texas. He was transported to the Montgomery County Jail charged with State Jail Felony Theft.

8/4 – Deputy Niquette responded to 3040 College Park Drive in reference to a 40 yr old Black Male Conroe, TX resident being detained by Wal-Mart staff for Shoplifting. The suspect was observed concealing cake decorating products in his pants and then attempting to leave the store without making an attempt to pay for the concealed merchandise. Loss Prevention recovered six items valued at $120.00. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. The suspect was also found to have an active Warrant and was also booked on those charges.
