District 1 – Lt. Jim Fleming (North County)

A 27 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 1:29am, February 8, in the 11900 block of Douget Road by Deputy C. Santoro for a DWI failure to appear warrant out of Gonzales County. The Deputy was on a follow up investigation. The male was transported to jail.

On February 8, Deputy A. Booher was sent to Mt Zion Road in reference to a family violence assault call. The Deputy met with a female complainant who advised she had been assaulted by her aunt. The Deputy observed finger impressions on the complainant’s bicep and triceps areas of her right arm. The aunt was very belligerent and made threatening comments to the complainant in front of the Deputy. The 27 year old female from Willis was arrested at 4:40pm and taken to jail.

On February 9, Sgt. J. Varnell stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 11300 block of FM 1097 W. The vehicle did not stop on initial activation of the Deputy’s emergency lights. The male driver was found to be intoxicated. The 44 year old male from Willis was arrested at 2:47am, charged with DWI and transported to jail.

On February 10, Deputies D. Pugh and K. Berger stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the area of Loop 336 and FM 3083. The male driver was found to be operating the vehicle without a valid driver’s license or proof of insurance. The male had been arrested previously for driving with an invalid driver’s license and cited several times for no insurance. The 48 year old male from Splendora was arrested at 12:45am, charged with driving with license invalid (2nd) and transported to jail.

On February 11, Deputy K. Albritton stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 11800 block of Calvary Road. The male driver was found to be operating the vehicle without a valid driver’s license or proof of insurance. The 19 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 7:45pm and transported to jail.

On February 12, Deputy J. Bourne was notified of a noise disturbance on Henry Calfee Drive. The Deputy met with a male found to be yelling and cursing at his neighbors. The male was outside of his residence at the time and was found to be intoxicated. The 45 year old male from Willis was arrested at 6:20pm, charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct and was taken to jail.

On February 12, Deputies D. Pugh and K. Berger responded to the 13600 block of FM 1314 in reference to a vehicle being shot at. The Deputies met with a female complainant who advised she had been sitting in her vehicle in the 13400 block of Bert Brown Road when a male, that she recognized, walked up to her passenger side window and tapped on it with a shotgun and pointed it at her. She sped away when she heard a shot. A large hole was located at the rear of the vehicle. During the investigation it was learned the male owed the female’s husband money. The Deputies located the male hiding under a bed at his residence and detained him. The 24 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 11:28pm, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and taken to jail.

On February 13, Deputies D. Pugh and K. Berger observed a vehicle in a closed service station parking lot located in the 10900 block of FM 1097. The vehicle was running and occupied by three males. As the Deputies drove toward the location the vehicle was pulling out of the driveway and was stopped by the Deputies. The male driver was found to be intoxicated as well as both male passengers. The 24 year old male driver from Huntsville was arrested at 3:38am and charged with DWI. The two other males, ages 34 and 42, each from Huntsville, were also arrested for public intoxication. All three males were transported to jail.

District 2 – Lt. Brady Fitzgerald (South County)

On February 2, 2011, Deputy Rosales responded to a suspicious vehicle call at 740 Sawdust Road. Upon arrival, Deputy Rosales observed Trooper Pullen to be interviewing the driver of the vehicle. Deputy Rosales made contact with the passenger, 23-year-old female from The Woodlands, and during the course of his interview, found that the suspect was getting high by huffing. Deputy Rosales contacted the District Attorney’s Office and charges for Abuse of a Volatile Chemical were accepted. The suspect was transported and booked into the Montgomery County Jail.

On February 8, 2011, Deputy Swank was dispatched to an apartment at 25200 IH-45 in reference to an intoxicated person. Upon arrival, Deputy Swank met with the suspect’s mother, who stated that her daughter was intoxicated and breaking things in the apartment. Deputy Swank made contact with the suspect, 20-year-old female, in an attempt to investigate whether she was indeed intoxicated. The suspect had red glassy eyes, slurred speech and emitted a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage when she spoke. Deputy Swank arrested the suspect for Minor in Consumption of Alcohol and transported her to the Montgomery County Jail.

On February 11, 2011, Deputy Zavorski responded to a Family Violence call at 25469 Borough Park Drive. Upon arrival, he met with the complainant, who presented with multiple facial injuries. The suspect, 24-year-old male from Spring, was located and charged with Class A Family Violence and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. The complainant, 19-year-old female from Spring, was found to be in possession of 13 grams of marijuana and was subsequently arrested for Possession of Marijuana and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On February 13, 2011, Deputy Zavorski responded to a Disturbance at 345 Sawdust Road. The suspect, 30-year-old female from Spring, was intoxicated and refusing to leave. The suspect was located in the parking lot and exhibited poor balance, red glassy eyes, slurred speech and emitted a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage when she spoke. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail for Public Intoxication.

District 3 – Lt. Darrel Conn (East County)

On 2/10/11 Sgt. Wienke was dispatched to the intersection of FM 1314/Kelly Joe Smith Rd for a welfare check where a vehicle had been driven into the ditch. The driver was gone but witnesses saw the driver get into another car and go to a nearby local bar. The female was located inside the bar and was highly intoxicated, nearly falling down while walking. The female was determined to be the registered owner of the vehicle and was arrested for Public Intoxication. She was also found to be in possession of several pills that were in a sealed envelope. The pills were determined to be Hydrocodone and the female was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.

On 2/11/11 Deputy Guion stopped a truck with expired registration. Upon further investigation it was determined the male’s Texas ID card was currently suspended for No Drivers License and No Insurance. The driver was arrested, charged with Driving While License Invalid and transported to jail.

On 2/11/11 Deputy Holden was dispatched to the 15600 block of Northland Drive for a Burglary of a Habitation. Upon meeting with the homeowner and found that the only thing missing from was some prescription medication. Contact was made with a 24 year old male neighbor who eventually returned the medication and admitted to breaking into the house. The male was arrested and charged with a 2nd degree Felony, Burglary of a Habitation.

On 2/11/11 Deputy Guion was dispatched to the 22700 block of Cuttler Road in reference to a Theft in Progress call. Upon arrival contact was made with 2 male subjects that were on the property. One male stated he was given permission to be on the property to pick up a car for scrap metal but the male could not provide any information on the person that gave him permission. The second male stated the first male told him he would pay him $100 dollars to use his truck and trailer. When the owner was contacted they stated no one had permission to be on the property. Both males were arrested and charged with Theft of a Motor Vehicle, a State Jail Felony. Due to one of the males having 2 prior Theft convictions, his charge was enhanced to a 3rd degree Felony.

On 2/12/11 Deputy Morris was dispatched to a Welfare check on Ford Road where an individual ran off the road into a ditch. Upon arrival Deputy Morris made contact with a male that was standing next to the car waiting on someone to help him get his car out. While interviewing the male driver Deputy Morris detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage along with slurred speech. The male was also unsteady on his feet, stumbling several times while walking. The male failed all Standardized Field Sobriety Tests that were administered on scene and arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. Due to 2 previous D.W.I. convictions the male driver was transported to a local hospital for a mandatory blood sample to be taken and then transported to jail where he was charged with Felony Driving While Intoxicated.

On 2/14/11 Deputy Ortiz conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for expired registration in the 23600 block of US Highway 59. Upon further investigation it was determined the male driver had an extensive history of Driving While License Invalid and No Insurance. After confirming his license was still invalid the driver was subsequently arrested again and charged with Driving While License Invalid, a Class "B" Misdemeanor.

On 2/14/11 Deputy Logan was dispatched to a Disturbance in Progress call in the 26600 block of Tinker Way. A female involved in the disturbance was found to have an active warrant through the Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office. The warrant was confirmed and the female was arrested and transported to jail without further incident.

District 4 – Lt. David Park (West County)

On February 13th Deputy Provenzano responded to a Family Violence call on Portsoy Drive in Magnolia. Upon arrival the Deputy observed a 51 year old male subject sitting in the neighbor’s yard. The subject had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath and person. The subject stated he could not go home since he had been arguing with his wife. The Deputy felt the subject was a danger to himself and others due to his intoxicated condition and took the subject into custody for Public Intoxication. The subject was transported to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.

On February 13th Deputy Mittag was dispatched to a Family Disturbance where a 29 year old male subject was arguing with his wife. The subject began beating on the door of his residence and pacing from the roadway to the house. When Deputy Mittag made contact with the subject he could detect a strong odor of alcoholic beverage on is breath and he was having trouble maintaining his balance. The Deputy feeling the subject was a danger to himself and others placed him in custody for Public Intoxication and transported him to the South County Jail.

On February 13th Deputy Provenzano was traveling on FM 149 when he observed a truck parked on the side of the road on Stillwater Blvd. The Deputy pulled behind the truck to investigate. The driver, a 42 year old male subject exited his vehicle and the Deputy could immediately detect an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath and person. Deputy Provenzano preformed the Standard Field Sobriety Test on the subject who was determined to be intoxicated. The Subject was arrested for Felony DWI 3rd or more and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On February 11th Sergeant Webb met with a 30 year old male subject in reference to a Criminal Mischief. While getting a statement on the case a warrant was located on the male subject out of Montgomery County for Failure to Appear on a Child Support Case. The warrant was confirmed and the subject was taken into custody and transported to the South County Jail.

On February 11th Deputy Suarez was dispatched to the 28000 Block of Hidden Cove for a Welfare Check on A Child. Upon arrival Deputy Suarez met with the Witness who advised that a 4 year old female child had been left outside of her home for approximately 30 minutes in 32 degree weather on a public roadway and unsupervised. The Witness further advised that just before my arrival the grandmother a 44 year old female subject had shown up and taken the child and drove away. Deputy Suarez located the subject and conducted a Traffic Stop. The subject had slurred speech and failed to understand or carry out any of the Deputy’s orders. The child told the Deputy she had been locked outside her home because she had drank all the milk. The subject was taken into custody and charged with DWI Felony W/A Child, Felony Child Injury / Neglect and the subject also had an active Warrant for Felony Robbery. She was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On February 10th Deputy Provenzano responded to a Welfare Check at the Shell Gas on FM 1774 in Magnolia. The Deputy observed a gray truck being driven down a small road by FM 1774; he stopped the vehicle and made contact with the driver a 32 male subject. While talking with the subject the Deputy could detect a strong odor of alcoholic beverage coming from his breath and person. After performing a Field Sobriety Test on the subject he was taken into custody for DWI and transported to the South County Jail.

On February 10th Deputy Mittag was dispatched to Leisure Wood Subdivision in Pinehurst in reference to an Assault Family Violence. Upon arrival Deputy Mittag met with the female Complainant who advised her boyfriend had been drinking and had begun a physical altercation with her in their residence resulting in her falling on her dresser and being injured. The Deputy then spoke to the male subject involved and could smell a strong odor of alcoholic beverage on his breath and the subject admitted to drinking. The male subject was placed into custody for Assault Family Violence and transported to the South County Jail.

On February 10th Sergeant Webb was dispatched to the Decker Oaks Subdivision in reference to an Assault by Contact Family Violence. Upon arrival the Sergeant met with the two subjects. The female subject stated she had come by the male subject’s house to get her belongings and the male subject denied her entry to the residence to retrieve her son’s TV. At this point a physical altercation began between the two. Sergeant Webb determined both parties were involved in the altercation and issued both parties Citations to appear in the Justice of Peace Court for Assault by Contact Family Violence.

District 5 – Lt. Gary Welch (Northwest County)

February 10th Deputy Howze responded to the 18100 block of Osborn Rd. in regards to a Disturbance. Investigation revealed that a husband and wife had been involved in a verbal altercation at their residence. It was further learned that the female was prohibited from being at the residence due to an active protective order. The female was arrested for Violation of Protective Order, Misdemeanor A and placed into the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

February 11th Deputy Jackson responded to the Scotts Ridge Boat ramp located in the 12500 block of Scotts Ridge Rd. in regards to Burglary of a Vehicle. The Complainant reported that someone forced entry into his vehicle during his absence and stole several articles to include tools and a handgun. The value of items stolen was estimated in excess of $2,200. This case is currently under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division.

February 12th Deputy Davis responded to the 15600 block of Marina Dr. in regards to verbal Disturbance taking place in the parking lot of a business. It was learned that a male and female were involved in a verbal altercation and the female appeared to be highly intoxicated. Posing a threat to herself and others, the female was arrested for Public Intoxication, Misdemeanor C and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

February 12th Deputy Garner was dispatched to an establishment parking lot in the 18100 block of SH 105 W. in regards to a Disturbance. Officers located an intoxicated female wandering the parking lot that, according to witnesses, had been involved in a verbal altercation earlier. The female was arrested for Public Intoxication and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

February 12th Deputy Lowe responded to the 400 block of Westchase in regards to a Disturbance in Progress. It was discovered that a male subject had been standing in the street waving a machete at his male neighbor while making verbal threats. The male subject was arrested for Terroristic Threat, Misdemeanor B and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)

On February 7, 2011, MCSO aired a Suspicious Person call in reference to a white male in a Chevy Corvette that pointed a gun at a complainant. The Complainant advised that he observed an unfamiliar vehicle on the property and went to investigate. At this point, he saw a male urinating on his property and told him to leave. The male then went to his vehicle. The complainant then approached the vehicle, and the driver, 60-year-old male from Houston loaded a magazine into a rifle. The suspect then pointed the rifle at the complainant.  The complainant called the Sheriff’s Office.  The vehicle was stopped at Tamina @ IH45.  While removing the passenger, 25 year old male from Houston, the passenger made several obscene remarks and gestures to passing motorists. Deputy Ross contacted the on call Assistant District Attorney and the charge of Deadly Conduct was accepted on the driver and Disorderly Conduct on the passenger.

On February 8, 2011, several deputies dispatched to a disturbance at 1660 Lake Woodlands Drive. During the course of the investigation, Deputy Weatherford found that an 18-year-old male from the Woodlands had a bag containing marijuana, and several Xanax bars. He was taken into custody for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Deputy Carson arrested a 17-year-old male from Conroe for Public Intoxication and Deputy Godden arrested a 17-year-old male from The Woodlands for Public Intoxication. All suspects were transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On February 10, 2011, while investigating a incident at 3040 College Park Drive, Deputy Koonce was notified of a Criminal Mischief that had just occurred in the parking lot. The complainant stated that someone had shot his car window with a BB gun, while he was driving through the parking lot. Witnesses stated that the actor, 19-year-old male from The Woodlands, had left in a white vehicle and provided Deputy Koonce with the license plate. The owner of the vehicle was contacted and asked to return to the scene. Charges for Criminal Mischief were accepted and the suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On February 13, 2011, Deputy Prince observed a vehicle traveling south on Six Pines Drive well below the posted speed limit, and failing to maintain a single lane of travel. Deputy Prince initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, 40-year-old male from Santa Monica, California. The driver exhibited red glassy eyes, and had trouble maintaining his balance. After conducting the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, Deputy Prince determined that the suspect was not in control of his physical faculties due to consumption of alcoholic beverages. The suspect was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On February 13, 2011, Deputy Dewey was dispatched to a disturbance in progress at 3073 College Park Drive. The suspect, 20-year-old male from Huntsville, had been asked to leave the restaurant for using profane language. The suspect walked towards a vehicle that was attempting to leave and fell on it. When the driver exited the vehicle, the suspect hit the driver in the face with a closed fist. The suspect was taken into custody charged with Class A Assault, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

The following Shoplifting Arrests were reported:

2/7 – Deputy Hardin arrested a 51-year-old female from Willis for Theft at 3040 College Park Drive. The suspect attempted to take $547.11 of merchandise from Wal-Mart. The suspect was taken into custody, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

2/10 – Deputy Prince arrested three 21-year-old females from Huntsville for Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspects attempted to take $278.90 worth of clothes and jewelry from Macy’s. The suspects were all taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

2/11 – Deputy Prince arrested three 16-year-old females from Conroe for Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspects attempted to take $645.92 worth of clothes from Sears. Two of the suspects had additional charges after they were found to be in Possession of Marijuana. The suspects were all taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Facility without incident.

2/12 – Deputy Weatherford arrested 28-year-old female from New Caney for Theft at 1100 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspect attempted to take a 32” Flat Screen Television valued at 369.99 from Target. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
