MCSO Crime Report

District 1 – Lt. Jim Fleming (North County)

On January 18, Corporal D. Bonner was sent to Roy Harris Loop in reference to a family violence assault.  The Deputy met with a male who advised he had assaulted his sister-in-law because she was assaulting his wife (her sister).  The wife stated her sister had grabbed her in a bear hug and threw her down on the ground.  The sister-in-law had a cut lip and several scratches on her back and arms where the male had assaulted her.  The 27 year old male and 25 year old female, both from Conroe, were arrested at 12:59pm and taken to jail.

A 26 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 2:47pm, January 18, in the 16100 block of     FM 2090 by Deputy A. Cross for a capias pro fine warrant out of Montgomery County.  The Deputy was investigating a disturbance call.  The male was transported to jail.

On January 19, Deputy S. Degner was dispatched to a trespass call in progress in the area of   FM 1484 and Holly.  The Deputy met with a male complainant who said that three males had come over to the location.  One of the males was there to visit an ex-girlfriend who was the wife of the complainant.  They were asked to leave and later came back two more times and were asked to leave each time. The last time they were there one of the male suspects slashed the tires on the complainant’s truck.  Another person on scene witnessed this.  Another male came out of his house and the three males assaulted him, injuring his lip, shoulder and knee.  The Deputy located the suspect males at a store just around the corner. The suspects arrested at 10:30pm were a 29 year old male from Conroe, charged with criminal trespass, criminal mischief and assault, a 28 year old male from Sulfur, LA, charged with criminal trespass and assault causing bodily injury, and a 26 year old male from Willis, charged with tampering with a government document, criminal trespass, and assault causing bodily injury.  All three were transported to jail.

On January 20, Deputy J. Hodges was notified of a family violence assault on Misty Glen Lane. The Deputy met with a female and male complainant who stated their daughter became belligerent towards the mother because the daughter was not getting her way.  When the male called law enforcement the female suspect grabbed her mother’s arm. The female complainant got away and went into a bedroom where the female suspect kicked in the door. The 29 year old female from Willis was arrested at 8:50pm and taken to jail.

On January 21, Deputies J. Kader and J. Hodges responded to the 12100 block of Douget Road in reference to a disturbance.  A male had driven his vehicle into the complainant’s yard and got it stuck.  The intoxicated female and male occupants of the vehicle were detained. During a search the vehicle a white powdery substance was located that tested positive for cocaine (109 grams).  Both the 38 year old female and 46 year old male, each from Shepherd, TX, were arrested at 12:45am, charged with possession of a controlled substance and transported to jail.  The male was additionally charged with an assault warrant out of San Jacinto County.

A 23 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 4:35pm, January 21, in the 600 block of Sadie Lane by Sgt. E. Ward for a military desertion warrant.  The Deputy was investigating a disturbance.  The male was transported to jail awaiting extradition.

On January 21, Deputy A. Cross was notified of a family violence assault on Huck Finn.  The Deputy met with a female complainant who stated her boyfriend came home and started yelling at her, telling her to pack her things and get out.  He then threatened to shoot her.  He got a gun and pointed it at her and told her she was trespassing.  She attempted to call 9-1-1 when the male grabbed the phone preventing her from calling for help. She got outside and the male started pushing her.  A witness stated the male was cursing and pushed the complainant several times.  The 33 year old male from Willis was arrested at 5:16pm, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and interference with an emergency phone call.  The male was taken to jail.

A 57 year old male from Montgomery was arrested at 6:30pm, January 22, in the 11900 block of Hwy 105 West by Sgt. E. Ward for a neglect child (non-support) warrant out of McLean County in Kentucky.  The Deputy received information on the male’s location. The male was transported to jail.

On January 23, Deputy J. Hodges was sent to the 13900 block of FM 1314 in reference to a suspicious person call.  The Deputy located a male that matched the description of the suspicious person.  The male was found to be intoxicated.  The male gave a false name and date of birth. After further investigation the male’s real name was found. The male was wanted on a blue warrant out of TDCJ. The male was arrested at 10:22pm, charged with public intoxication, fail to identify as fugitive from justice and the warrant.  The male was transported to jail.

On January 24, Deputy J. Kader responded to a family violence assault call in the 17600 block of Drowsy Pine. The Deputy met with a female complainant and observed swelling and redness under the female’s right eye and a bruise on the center of her chest.  The female’s husband was intoxicated and hit her numerous times on the face and chest areas. The couple’s children could hear their mother screaming for help and called 9-1-1.  The 39 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 1:53am and transported to jail.

 

District 2 – (South County)

1/16 – White Male 17 yrs old – was arrested for Possession of Marijuana.  Dep. Swank, while leaving a call on Wildwood Forest Drive noticed a suspicious vehicle, parked with all its lights off, but the engine running.  Dep. Swank approached the vehicle and knocked on the passenger window.  When the passenger rolled the window down, burnt marijuana smoke billowed out of the vehicle.  When asked if there was any marijuana still in the vehicle the driver turned over a clear plastic bag with .35 oz. of marijuana in it.  The driver was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

1/19 – White Male 38 yrs old – was arrested for Criminal Trespass.  Dep. Wakefield responded to the area of Rebecca Fields and Cameron Parks in reference to a Vehicle Disturbance.  Upon further investigation, he discovered that the offense of Criminal Trespass had occurred.  Dep. Wakefield observed the suspect vehicle to be stuck in the drainage area behind Spring Trails.  The suspect stated he had driven through a friends lot to gain access to the area. However, during a search of the area Dep. Wakefield located the locked gate that the suspect had driven around and fresh tire tracks.  The area is off limits to motorized vehicles, except for surveyors and property owner employees.  The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

1/20 – White Male 39 yrs old – was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or more. While eating dinner at the Taco Bell on Sawdust Road, Cpl. Barber and Dep. Swank were approached by an employee that stated they had a highly intoxicated customer in the drive thru lane.  Cpl. Barber and Dep. Swank made contact with the driver and had him exit his vehicle.  The driver had a difficult time opening the door and had to be caught by deputies to prevent him from falling.  The suspect asked several times to be arrested for Public Intoxication as this would be his 3rd DWI.  The on-call Assistant District attorney accepted charges for DWI 3rd or more and the suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

 

District 3 – Lt. Darrel Conn (East County)

 On 01-22-10 Deputy Ray responded to Duester Lane in reference to a family violence call.  After arriving and conducting the investigation and interviewing witness a male was taken into custody for assault and injury to a child.

On 01-24-10 Deputy LeBeau responded to the 23800 block of Spears Rd for a recovery of a stolen vehicle.  When he arrived he found a subject passed out in the driver’s seat of the stolen truck.  The truck was recovered and the male was arrested for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.

On 01-25-10 Deputy Guion responded to the 27300 block of F.M. 2090 to assist another agency and when he arrived he located a male who had an outstanding warrant for burglary of a habitation.  The warrant was confirmed and the male was arrested for the warrant.

On 01-26-10 Deputy Jackson responded to the 19700 block of Mercedell in reference to a trespasser in progress call.  The homeowner had called 911 because he had someone detained inside his residence at gunpoint.  When Deputy Jackson arrived he took the male into custody for Criminal Trespass of a habitation.

On 01-20-10 Cpl. Miller arrested a white male in the 15000 block of Vaughn Lane for an outstanding warrant of indecent exposure.

On 01-19-10 Deputy White responded to the 21700 block of E. Knox in reference to several motor vehicles that were burglarized.  During the investigation a suspect was identified and an additional charge of theft of copper was added.

On 01-24-10 Deputy Layman responded to the 23300 block of Loop 494 in reference to a forgery call.  There had been several counterfeit bills passed as currency.  The forged currency was taken as evidence and there was limited suspect information.

 

District 4 – Lt. David Park (West County)

On January 22nd at approximately 12:00 am MCSO Sgt. Russell while traveling west bound in the 27800 block of Hardin Store road, observed a vehicle approaching which appeared to be traveling above the posted speed limit of 40 mph.  At this time Sgt Russell conducted a traffic stop. The male driver failed several sobriety tests.  The male subject was arrested and transported to Montgomery County Jail.

On January 19th at approximately 8:00 pm MCSO Deputy LaSalle was dispatched to the Hazy Hollow subdivision in reference to a Shots Fired call.  Upon arrival the Deputy met with the Complainant who advised that when she pulled into her friend’s driveway she observed her friend walking towards her very fast.  She then saw a male subject come running out of the house and fire at her vehicle with a shot gun hitting it several times.  The Complainant stated she tried to back up at which time the male subject hit and smashed her rear window of her vehicle.  When she couldn’t get her vehicle to move she jumped out and ran to a neighbor’s house.  MCSO Deputy Williams located the suspect hiding in high weeds and arrested him charging him with aggravated assault. 

On January18th MCSO Deputy Hollan conducted a traffic stop on a black Chevrolet Pick-up at SH 149 and Majestic.  Upon identifying the occupants in the vehicle one subject had several outstanding warrants throughout Montgomery County.  The subject was issued a citation for Driving without a License.  Deputy Hollan arrested the subject for his outstanding warrants and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On January 17th at approximately 8:00 pm MCSO Deputy Crandell observed a suspicious red Toyota vehicle parked on the side of the road on Nichols Sawmill near a fireworks stand.  As soon as Deputy Crandell’s vehicle was within view of the Toyota the driver of the vehicle turned his headlights off.  The Deputy turned around and observed a male subject from the Toyota taking light bulbs from the fireworks stand.  The subject appeared to be intoxicated.  The female passenger gave a false name to the deputy. The female subject was arrested for an active Felony Warrant and also was charged with Failure to Identify.  The male subject was arrested for Public Intoxication.  Both subjects were transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On January 17th at approximately 8:00 pm MCSO Deputy Williams was dispatched to an Assault in Progress in the Magnolia East subdivision.  Upon arrival the Deputy observed a 70 year old male subject and the suspect fighting one other.  A witness on scene advised that three relatives had gone next door to check on the male subject’s granddaughter and they could hear her crying as they approached her residence.  As they entered the residence the suspect struck the 70 year old in the face several times and then struck one of the witnesses with a pipe as he tried to protect the elderly man.  The male suspect was arrested and charged with two counts of Felony Aggravated Assault, one count of Felony Injury to Elderly and had an outstanding warrant for Aggravated Assault.

On January 16th at approximately 2:30 am MCSO Deputy Zavorski was dispatched to Decker Oaks in reference to a Family Violence.  A verbal altercation was taking place in the living room of the residence.  MCSO Cpl Wienke entered the residence and separated them.  The female subject advised that her husband had both assaulted her and held a knife to her throat.  A witness on scene confirmed her statement.  The male subject was arrested for Aggravated Assault Family Violence a Felony 2 charge and was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On January 13th at approximately 9:00 pm MCSO Deputy Herman was dispatched to Glenmont in reference to a Burglary.  The Deputy was met by the Complainant who advised that he found that several items were missing from his home.  A juvenile neighbor was taken into custody for the burglary.

 

District 5 – Lt. Don Lacy   (Northwest County)

January 20, 2010, at 10:51 AM Deputy Garlock responded to the 19100 block of SH 105 West for the report of a Burglary of a Building. The Complainant reported that someone forced entry into his rental storage facility and stole his all terrain vehicle and trailer. The estimated value of the stolen property is in excess of $ 7,400.  The case is currently under investigation by the Auto Theft Task Force.

January 20, 2010, at 2:45 PM Deputy Farmer responded to the 100 block of Arapaho for the report of an Assault. The Complainant reported being assaulted by another male who had since fled the scene. During the investigation Deputy Farmer located the male suspect who resisted when he was placed under arrest for the assault. The Suspect was placed into the Montgomery County Jail on an undetermined bond for Assault and Resisting Arrest.

January 22, 2010, at 6:15 PM Deputy Jackson responded to the 13900 block of McGregor for the report of a Burglary of a Habitation. Investigation revealed where Suspect(s) made forced entry into residence and stole numerous personal articles and electronic equipment. The estimated value of the stolen property is in excess of $ 8,400. The case is currently under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division.

January 24, 2010 at 1:45 AM Deputy Lowe responded to the 15400 block of SH 105 West for the report of a Disturbance. Investigation revealed that several individuals had been involved in a verbal altercation in a public place. One male suspect was arrested for Public Intoxication and placed into the Montgomery County Jail on an undetermined bond.

January 24, 2010 at 4:30 PM Deputy Favorat responded to the 14000 block of Cecala Dr for the report of a Burglary of a Building.  Complainant reported that Suspect(s) made forced entry into her residential shed and stole numerous tools and yard maintenance. The estimated value of the stolen property is in excess of $ 3,300. The case is currently under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division. 

 

District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)

The following Shoplifting arrest was made at 3040 College Park Drive:

1/18 – White Female 35 yrs old – The recovered merchandise (6 items) was valued at $79.99.  The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County jail without incident.  The suspect was also arrested on a warrant for Fraud and Motion to Revoke Probation.

The following arrest(s) were made:

On January 15, 2010 at approximately 1758 hours Dep. Godden was dispatched to 1201 Lake Woodlands for a Forgery in Progress.  While en route to the scene, Dep. Godden observed the suspect vehicle leaving the mall and turning onto Lake Woodlands.  He stopped the vehicle and identified the two suspects A01 -White Male 34 and A02 – White Male 64.  A01 had been observed in a department store obtaining a credit card with a forged drivers license and making approximately $1800 in purchases of store merchandise.  These items as well as an additional $1400.00 in gift cards were found during the course of the investigation.  A02 was found to be in possession of multiple forged Drivers License, fake checks, security pass cards and the temporary paper credit cards from the two department stores.  Charges were accepted on both suspects for Fraudulent Use of Identifying Information.  The suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

The following additional arrests were made:

1/20 – White Female 25 – was arrested on Waterway Avenue on a Warrant/Motion to Revoke after being observed walking down the street in an intoxicated state.  She was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

1/21 – White Male 18 – was arrested for Public Intoxication at 1201 Lake Woodlands after officers received a suspicious vehicle call. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

1/22 – White Male 21, White Male 19, White Female 19 and White Male 20 – were arrested for Public Intoxication on Night Song after officers received a Indecent Exposure in Progress call.  Two of the suspects had been seen urinating in the front yard. Upon arrival deputies observed several open alcoholic beverages.  The subjects were all taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

1/25 – Black Male 34 – was arrested at 9200 Grogans Mill for an outstanding warrant for Taking Wildlife Resources without Consent.  The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
