MCSO Crime Report

District 1 – Lt. Jim Fleming (North County)

On February 1, Deputies O. Coward and J. Kader were dispatched to the 10800 block of Cudde Cemetery Road in reference to a family violence assault call. The Deputies were advised by a female witness that a female had been threatened and assaulted by her boyfriend. Both the females left the residence in a vehicle and were being followed by the male. The females were located by the Deputies and were informed the male had shoved his girlfriend several times and pushed her out the door at the residence, aside from the threats. The male was stopped on Old Montgomery Road and detained. The 53 year old male from Willis was arrested at 11:45pm and transported to jail.

On February 2, Deputies O. Coward and J. Kader were notified of a burglary of a motor vehicle in the 13800 block of Broken Arrow Drive and that the vehicle owner had detained the male suspect. After the investigation was completed the 22 year old male from Willis was arrested at 11:50pm and transported to jail.

A 28 year old male, address unknown, was arrested at 10:15pm, February 3, at a grocery store at the intersection of FM 1097 and IH 45, by Deputy J. Kader for an endangering of a child warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy received information on the male from an off duty officer who had recognized the male. The male was transported to jail.

A 28 year old male from Willis was arrested at 9:05pm, February 4, in the 12400 block of
FM 2432 by Deputy O. Coward for an interfere with emergency call warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy received information on the male’s location. The male was taken to jail.

On February 4, Deputy J. Wilkerson was notified of a family violence assault call in the 10100 block of Meador Road. The Deputy met with a male and female complainant. The male complainant advised he and his brother got into an argument. The suspect male struck the male complainant on the head with a wine glass. They began pushing and shoving each other when the female complainant attempted to break it up and was struck on the head by the suspect male. All had been drinking alcohol. The 40 year old male suspect was arrested at 10:28pm, charged with assault causes bodily injury and transported to jail.

On February 5, Deputy J. Wilkerson was sent to the 10000 block of Lakeside Drive for a burglary of a motor vehicle call. The Deputy met with a female complainant who advised she heard her dog barking and looked outside and noticed a male inside her vehicle. She went outside and confronted the male, whom she knew as a neighborhood boy who lived down the street. The male ran toward his house. The female complainant noticed both her vehicles had been entered and some items missing. The female advised she and her husband had told the boy not to come on their property. The Deputy, with assistance from another Deputy, went to the male’s residence and received permission to enter from the father. After a short investigation the male was advised he was under arrest at which time he resisted and was restrained. The 17 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 1:40am, charged with two counts of burglary of a motor vehicle, criminal trespass and resisting arrest. He was taken to jail.

On February 6, Sgt. C. Rogers was notified of a disturbance in the 16000 block of Hwy 75. An intoxicated male at a public barbeque was trying to start fights with other patrons at the event. The male was extremely belligerent to the Deputy. The 42 year old male from Houston was arrested at 4:20am and transported to jail.

A 21 year old male from Willis was arrested at 11:54am, February 6, in the 10600 block of Champion Village Drive by Deputy K. Underwood for a felony order of arrest warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy had received information on the male’s location. The male was transported to jail.

On February 6, Deputy J. Hodges responded to the 13700 block of West FM 1097 for a disturbance call. The Deputy located an intoxicated male in the parking lot wearing only boxers. The 23 year old male from Willis was arrested and transported to jail.

On February 7, Deputy W. Adams was sent to the area of S. Comanche and N. Comanche in reference to two suspicious males in a pickup. Both males were passed out in the truck. Both males were found to be intoxicated. The two males, 17 and 18, both from Cleveland, were arrested at 7:10am and transported to jail.

On February 7, Deputy W. Adams was dispatched to the 9900 block of Lazy Oaks for a family violence assault call. The Deputy met with a female complainant who said she and her common law husband got into an argument over a female calling his cell phone. The male kicked the female on her right leg near the knee causing a bruise. The 31 year old male from Conroe was arrested and taken to jail.

A 48 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 7:20pm, February 7, in the 10600 block of Royal Cavens by Deputy O. Coward for a DWI order of arrest warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was investigating a disturbance call. The female was taken to jail.

District 2 – (South County)

On January 28, 2010, Dep. Jobe responded to a possible Auto Theft in Progress at 24011
Richards Road. Upon arrival at the scene, Dep. Jobe observed the suspect vehicle pulling into the parking lot just north of the address in question. Dep. Jobe made contact with the driver, White Male 18 yrs old, and two passengers, White Male 19 yrs old and White Male 18 yrs old, detaining all until it could be verified the vehicle was not stolen. During the investigation, the driver appeared extremely nervous and a strong odor of marijuana was coming from the vehicle.
The driver stated there was a small amount in the center console, however the small amount found did not seem enough to produce the odor in the vehicle. A further search of the vehicle found two more bags of marijuana. All subjects denied knowledge of the marijuana and stated it was not theirs. All subjects were taken into custody and charged with Possession of Marijuana and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. The 18 yr old passenger was also charged with Failure to ID-Fugitive from Justice because he gave the officers a fictitious name and booked on an additional outstanding warrant.

On February 1, 2010 at approximately 2:30 am, Dep. Hernandez responded to a Welfare Check in the 2700 block of Brookchase Drive. Witnesses reported a man was slumped over inside a pickup truck that was at a gas pump. Upon arrival Dep. Hernandez made contact with the driver, White Male 36 yrs old, waking him up. As the driver asked what was going on, Dep. Hernandez noticed a strong odor of alcohol coming from the driver as he spoke. Dep. Hernandez asked the driver to exit the vehicle to continue questioning and for safety purposes. The driver did not want to get out, and actively resisted Dep. Hernandez’s attempt to remove him. The driver attempted to wrestle Dep. Hernandez to the ground before being restrained by Dep. Hernandez and Dep. Jobe, who had arrived on scene to assist. The driver was taken into custody for Public Intoxication and Resisting Arrest and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On February 6, 2010, Dep. Swank responded to a Criminal Mischief call on Dunwell Court. The homeowner stated that her sister’s ex-boyfriend had come to her house and ripped up plants in her front flower bed and damaged her front door. While speaking with the complainant, the suspect drove up the street. Dep. Swank attempted to stop the vehicle, by flagging him down with his flashlight. The suspect accelerated and passed by Dep. Swank attempting to flee. Dep. Swank got into his patrol car, activating his emergency lights and chased after the suspect, catching up to him on Loggers Chase. The suspect stated he drove away because he didn’t want to get into trouble. The suspect was then taken into custody for Fleeing from a Police Officer and Criminal Mischief. A search of the suspect, incident to the arrest, found 2 clear bags containing .17 oz. of Marijuana. An additional charge of Possession of Marijuana was added. The subject was then transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

District 3 – Lt. Darrel Conn (East County)

On 2/4/10 Deputy Smith was dispatched to the 23000 block of Loop 494 for an assault past call. Upon his arrival he found an intoxicated male that stated he was there to buy drugs at that location. The male had stated that unknown suspects had stolen money from him. The suspect, a 28-year-old male was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication. Other charges are currently pending.

On 2/6/10 Deputy Armstrong was dispatched to the 26000 block of Lake Shore Dr. in reference to a disturbance in progress. Upon the Deputies arrival he found that there was a 46-year-old female that was aggressive and out of control. Said female had assaulted her husband by pulling his hair and punching him in the face. The suspect was arrested and charged with Assault Family Violence.

On 2/7/10 Deputy Ray was dispatched to the 23000 block of FM 1314 in reference to a welfare check. Upon his arrival he found a female intoxicated in a vehicle and slumped over the wheel. In plain view he observed an unmarked pill bottle that contained Hydrocodone and Xanax. The suspect, a 24 year old female was arrested and charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance.

On 2/8/10 Deputy Jackson was dispatched to the 14000 block of Carla Ct. in reference to a Family Violence call. Upon his arrival he learned that the complainants live in boyfriend was intoxicated and had pushed her several times. The suspect, a 53 year old male, was arrested for Assault.

District 4 – Lt. David Park (West County)

On February 6th at approximately 9:00 pm MCSO Deputy Herman was dispatched to Brushy Trail in reference to an Assault in Progress. Upon arrival the Deputy made contact with a male Complainant and a male subject. The Complainant stated that the male subject became angry at another person. The subject was very angry and the Complainant was trying to calm him down and they began to fight. The male subject pushed the Complainant to the ground. Both parties had been drinking and were intoxicated. The subject was placed into custody and charged with Assault.

On February 4th at approximately 9:00 am MCSO Deputies Hahs and Gonzalez along with Corporal Bybee were dispatched to the Hazy Hollow subdivision for an Assault in Progress call. Upon arrival the male subject involved was placed in custody. The Deputies located the Complainant across the street at a neighbor’s house. The Deputies found a plastic bag containing a green leafy substance and a second small plastic bag with a small amount of crystal substance and a razor blade. This substance tested positive for Meth Amphetamine. The male subject was arrested for Assault (Family Violence) and the female subject was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Control Substance (Meth) – State Jail Felony charge.

On February 2nd at approximately 10:30 pm MCSO Sgt Russell was dispatched to an Attempt to Locate (ATL) in reference to a possibly intoxicated driver traveling westbound on FM 1488. The Witness had advised the driver had struck a concrete retainer wall and continued west turning onto Octavia Drive. Sgt Russell located the vehicle in a ditch and engine was still running and the female driver was in the vehicle. She was arrested for DWI – 2nd and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On February 2nd at approximately 9:00 pm MCSO Deputy Herman was dispatched to Easy Street for a Family Violence. Upon arrival Deputy Herman made contact with the male subject and the female Complainant. It was discovered during an argument the male subject made a verbal threat. The male subject was placed into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On February 1st at approximately 8:30 pm while patrolling the Woodtrace Subdivision MCSO Corporal Sumrall observed a vehicle parked in the middle of Reynosa Ct with no lights on. As the Corporal approached the vehicle with his spot light turned on he observed a male subject sitting in the driver’s seat. As the Corporal exited his vehicle and approached the male he observed the subject trying to conceal something. The deputy found a small amount of cocaine. The subject was placed under arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance (State Jail Felony) and transported to Montgomery County Jail.

On January 30th at approximately 2:30 am MCSO Deputy Zavorski responded to an assist call for a Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission (TABC) officer at Billiar Los Primos Bar on Weakly Way. After a search the officers located a Hispanic male asleep in a vehicle. Deputy Zavorski observed white powder on the edge of his nostrils and the inside of his nose. The male was extremely impaired and had trouble standing on his own. He also seemed to be disoriented. 1.6 grams of the white powdery substance was found. The substance tested positive for cocaine.The male subject was arrested for Public Intoxication and Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

District 5 – Lt. Don Lacy (Northwest County)

February 06, 2010 at 1:50 AM Deputy Garner conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of
Navajo. The male driver appeared to be intoxicated and after failing several field sobriety test was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and placed into the Montgomery County Jail on $600 bond.

February 06, 2010 at 2:15 PM Cpl. Bruce responded to the 13900 block of Rosemont Dr. for a report of Theft. The complainant reported that someone had stolen a large generator from along side of the exterior of her home. The value of the generator was estimated to be in excess of $2500. The case is under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division.

February 06, 2010 at 6:30 PM Deputy Jackson conducted a traffic stop in the 5000 block of Cartwright Rd. Upon making contact with the male driver it was discovered that he had an outstanding warrant. The driver was arrested for the outstanding Theft Warrant and placed into the Montgomery County Jail on $ 1,000 bond.

February 06, 2010 at 10:30 PM Deputy Garner responded to tSpyglass Hill Dr. for a reported Disturbance between family members. Investigation revealed that the female Complainant had been in a verbal dispute with her visiting brother that he had stolen and pawned her jewelry. The complainant stated that she confronted him after seeing her jewelry at a local pawn shop. Deputies subsequently arrested for Felony Theft on advice of the District Attorney’s Office and placed into the Montgomery County Jail on $ 10,000 bond.

February 08, 2010 at 4:15 PM Deputy Neeley responded to the 12900 block of FM 1486 for the report of Theft. The Complainant stated that sometime during this past week someone stole his ATV from his rural property at this location. The value of the ATV is estimated to be in excess of $ 5,000. This case is currently under investigation by the Auto Theft Task Force.

District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)

The following Shoplifting arrest(s) were made at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive:

1/26 – White Female 18 yrs old – The recovered merchandise (3 items) was valued at
$78.98. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County jail without incident.

1/30 – White Male 15 yrs old – The recovered merchandise (4 items) was valued at $128.00. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Facility without incident. His friend, White Male 16 yrs old, received a citation for Theft for the 1 item valued at $28.00 found in his possession. He was released to a parent that was called to the store.

1/31- White Female 18 yrs old – The recovered merchandise (2 items) was valued at
$118.98. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County jail without incident.

1/31 – White Female 16 yrs old – The recovered merchandise (3 items) was valued at
$167.96. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention
Facility without incident.

1/31- Black Female 24 yrs old – The recovered merchandise (5 items) was valued at
$220.00. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County jail without incident.

2/1 – White Male 15 yrs old – The recovered merchandise (7 items) was valued at
$223.00. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention
Facility without incident.

2/3 – White Male 15 yrs old – The recovered merchandise (2 items) was valued at $97.50.
The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Facility
without incident.

2/3 – White Female 16 yrs old – The recovered merchandise (3 items) was valued at
$62.00. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention
Facility without incident.

2/5 – Black Female 30 yrs old – The recovered merchandise (3 items) was valued at
$147.50. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County jail without incident.

2/5 – Black Female 18 yrs old – The recovered merchandise (6 items) was valued at
$112.94. During the course of the shoplifting investigation, the suspect was also found to
be in possession of 5.9 grams of marijuana. An additional charge of Possession of
Marijuana was accepted by the District Attorney’s office. The suspect was transported to
the Montgomery County jail without incident.

The following Shoplifting arrest(s) were made at 3040 College Park Drive:

1/31- White Male 18 yrs old – The recovered merchandise (3 items) was valued at
$104.74. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

1/31- White Male 24 yrs old – The recovered merchandise (2 items) was valued at
$75.76. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

2/2 – White Female 28 yrs old – The recovered merchandise (6 items) was valued at
$168.62 The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

The following additional arrests were made:

2/1 – White Female 49 yrs old – was arrested after a traffic stop of a vehicle matching the description of a vehicle leaving the scene of a Criminal Mischief on Painted Sunset. The suspect admitted to throwing rocks through the homeowners windows and vehicle as well as slashing the tires on his vehicle. The suspect showed officers where the knives were hidden in her vehicle. The on-call Assistant District Attorney was notified and charges for Criminal Mischief were accepted. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
