District 1 – Lt. Darrel Conn (North County)

On 04/07/09, Deputy Degner, at approximately 9:00 P/M, was dispatched to a residence on Royal Ramsey, in Conroe, in reference to a Disturbance in Progress. On arrival, it was learned that a 38 year old male had come home late and intoxicated. An argument started between the male and his wife. The wife became scared for her safety and she called 911 for help. The male followed her outside with a pistol that had a laser sight. He pointed the laser at her chest and told her to count to five. Deputy Degner arrived about that time and the male threw the pistol under the front porch of the house. The male was taken into custody and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

On the date of 04/08/09 at approximately 7:35 P/M, Deputy Degner was en-route to the Montgomery County Jail with a male prisoner, on Calvary Road, near the entrance to Walnut Cove Subdivision. A small male child ran out across the roadway in front of his patrol vehicle. The child was three years old. His 22 year old father was located and arrested for Endangering a Child. It seems he was not supervising the child while he and other adults were tending to the barbeque pit.

On 04/08/09 at 9:40 P/M, Deputy Lawless was dispatched to Miller Road, in Conroe, in reference to a Family Violence. The investigation revealed that a husband and wife had an argument over money and the television program. The husband fired one round from a handgun through the center of the television. The female was within close proximity of the television and felt endangered. The male was arrested and charged with Deadly Conduct.

On 4/10/09 Deputies were dispatched to the 10,000 block of Royal Magnolia, in reference to a Family Disturbance. A 26 year old male was arrested and charged with Assault – Family Violence.

District 2 – Lt. Andrew Eason (South County/Woodlands)

Driving While Intoxicated Arrest(s):

4/11 – Sgt. Jenkins arrested WM 30, after a traffic stop in the area of Grogan’s Mill and Lake Woodlands. During the Field Sobriety Tests, the driver was too intoxicated to follow the instructions and perform the tests correctly. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
Theft/Shoplifting Arrest(s):

4/8 – Dep. Johnson arrested WF 38 and WM 38 at 3040 College Park Drive. The merchandise recovered was valued at $267.77. The suspects were transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

4/12 – Dep. Jobe arrested WM 18 for Theft (Possession of Stolen Property) in Greenfield Forest Dr. Suspect was in possession of a stolen IPOD Touch. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

Other Arrest(s) included:

4/11 – Sgt. Jenkins arrested WM 35 for Evading in a Vehicle, after observing the driver run a red light at Woodlands Parkway and Ashlane Way. The driver actively evaded Sgt. Jenkins, driving into a neighborhood off Flintridge Cascade Canyon. The driver abandoned the vehicle, but was located and was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

District 3 – Lt. Jim Fleming (East County)

On April 6, Deputy C. Turrentine was sent to the 24800 block of Hwy 59 in reference to a motor vehicle accident involving a pickup truck and a semi-truck. The pickup truck was occupied by a male and a female. Prior to the Deputy’s arrival witnesses had seen the couple frantically removing items from the pickup truck and stuffing them into their pockets. The result of the investigation found the couple charged with possession of a controlled substance (11.37 grams of crystal meth). The 23 year old female from Tomball and the 33 year old male from Conroe were arrested at 6:24pm and transported to jail.

On April 6, Deputy S. Ortiz observed a vehicle traveling in the wrong lane of a two lane roadway in the 15100 block of Country West Drive. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was found to be intoxicated with neither a driver’s license nor insurance for the vehicle. The 43 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 9:01pm, charged with DWI, and transported to jail.

On April 7, Deputies C. Evans and L. Ray were dispatched to a disturbance in the 18400 block of Pickering Road. On arrival the Deputies made contact with the female who reported this incident and with the two males involved in the incident. They were father and son. Both had been drinking heavily. An argument ensued between them and the father retrieved a handgun and fired it one time. It was unsure which direction the weapon was aimed; however, the son had said the father told him he was going to kill him. After the weapon was fired the two got into a physical altercation. Two handguns were found on location. The 58 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 12:50am and charged with aggravated assault. The 38 year old male also from Conroe was arrested on an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle warrant out of Montgomery County. Both were transported to jail.

On April 7, Deputy J. Walker was notified of a suspicious person call in the 1900 block of North Park Drive. A male had been seen carrying a crow bar and a jack in the parking lot of an auto sales business. The Deputy arrived and observed the male standing in the bed of a pickup truck in the process of breaking out the rear glass. The male saw the Deputy and fled. The Deputy chased the male through ditches and woods. The male was later seen running across North Park and was detained by a Deputy Constable. The 25 year old male from Center, TX, was arrested at 2:55am and charged with burglary of a motor vehicle, evading on foot and a fraudulent use of a credit card warrant out of Harris County. He was transported to jail.

On April 7, Deputy J. Guion responded to the 21600 block of Baptist Encampment Road in reference to a family violence assault. The Deputy met with a male complainant who stated he had already called twice before on his brother and his brother’s wife making threats approximately two hours earlier. They again threatened to assault him. The 37 year old male and 41 year old female, both from New Caney, were arrested at 9:20pm and transported to jail.

On April 8, Deputy A. White was dispatched to the 21200 block of W. Memorial Drive for a family violence assault call that was in progress. The Deputy through investigation was able to find out that a female had been assaulted by her boyfriend and the male had interfered with the female making an emergency phone call. The 24 year old male from Porter was arrested at 9:43pm and charged with assault, interference with emergency phone call and three Montgomery County JP 4 warrants. He was taken to jail.

On April 9, Deputy J. Walker observed a vehicle speeding in the area of Johnson Road and Loop 494. The vehicle ran a red light and the Deputy was able to get the vehicle stopped shortly thereafter. The male driver was found to be intoxicated. The 31 year old male was arrested at 12:55am, charged with DWI, and transported to jail.

On April 9, Deputy C. Murray was sent to the 19900 block of Hwy 59 for a welfare concern involving a male that was sitting in his vehicle at a red light and was passed out. The male was found to be intoxicated. The 32 year old male from Cleveland was arrested at 3:04am, charged with DWI, and transported to jail.

On April 10, Deputy J. Chapa was notified of a disturbance call in the 20800 block of FM 1485. The Deputy met with a male suspect who stated he needed to be arrested. The male suspect and another male got into a verbal confrontation over a road rage incident. The male suspect used a metal pipe and struck the other male on the right side of the head leaving a 5” long laceration. The injured male was taken to Ben Taub in critical condition. The 28 year old male suspect from Cleveland was arrested at 9:47pm and charged with aggravated assault with deadly weapon and transported to jail.

On April 10, Deputies, S. Ortiz and A. White were dispatched to the 17800 block of Crystalwood Court in reference to aggravated assault and an additional assault. The Deputies met with a female complainant who stated she observed a male suspect assaulting his girlfriend by striking her in the abdominal area. The girlfriend was seven months pregnant. He was seen pulling his girlfriend inside the residence by the hair as she was screaming for help. The female complainant attempted to help the other female but was kicked on the leg by the male suspect. The male refused to open the door to allow Deputies in to check the welfare on the girlfriend. This has been an on going situation. One day prior the male had pushed the girlfriend through a plate glass window causing deep lacerations on her arm. Due to the male holding the female against her will a SWAT callout ensued. After several hours the male came out and surrendered. The 26 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 11:41pm and transported to jail.

On April 11, Deputies, R. Ashmore and C. Evans were sent to a lounge in the 24000 block of Loop 494. A male and female on location were shouting at each other. Both were intoxicated. The 24 year old male from Porter and the 22 year old female from New Caney were arrested at 2:30am and taken to jail.

On April 11, Deputy A. White was dispatched to the 23600 block of 2nd Street for a disturbance in progress. The Deputy observed two females arguing. One of the females fled the scene and was later apprehended. The 28 year old female from New Caney was arrested at 8:03pm, charged with public intoxication, and transported to jail.

On April 12, Deputy C. Turrentine responded to a disturbance call in the 23800 block of FM 1314. The Deputy met with a male complainant who stated he was traveling on FM 1314 when a vehicle cut him off. The complainant followed the vehicle which pulled into the parking lot of this location. The complainant confronted the passengers in the other vehicle when a male passenger in the rear seat displayed a machete and swung it two times at the complainant. The complainant got back into his vehicle and accidently backed into the other vehicle to which the male with the machete got out and chased the complainant striking his vehicle with the machete. All was caught on video in the store at the location. The 19 year old male suspect from Dayton was arrested at 2:45pm and transported to jail.

Warrants served:

A 38 year old male from Humble was arrested at 11:57pm, April 6, in the area of Loop 494 and FM 1485 by Deputy J. Walker for a failure to appear warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was investigating a disturbance. The male was taken to jail.

A 34 year old male from Splendora was arrested at 12:03am, April 7, in the area of FM 1485 and Loop 494 by Deputy J. Guion for five (5) warrants out of Montgomery County
JP 4. The Deputy was investigating a disturbance in the 23500 block of Hwy 59. The male was a passenger in a vehicle stopped by the Deputy. The male was taken to jail.

A 43 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 12:05pm, April 7, in the 20800 block of Punkin by Corporal D. Miller for a failure to pay child support warrant out of Harris County. The Deputy was assisting another agency. The male was taken to jail.

A 52 year old female from Cleveland was arrested at 2:43pm, April 8, in the 23400 block of Hwy 59 by Deputy C. Turrentine for a theft by check warrant out of Liberty County. The female had been stopped on a traffic violation. She was taken to jail.

An 18 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 4:15pm, April 8, in the 20100 block of Hwy 59 by Deputy R. Layman for three (3) Patton Village traffic warrants. The male was a passenger in a vehicle stopped by the Deputy. The male was taken to jail.

A 24 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 8:50pm, April 8, in the area of FM 1485 and Whispering Pines by Deputy R. Layman for nine (9) warrants out of Montgomery County JP 4. The male had been stopped on a traffic violation. The male was transported to jail.

A 43 year old male from Porter was arrested at 5:02pm, April 10, in the 21400 block of W. Martin by Deputy J. Chapa for a DWI with child passenger warrant out of Montgomery County. The male had been a passenger in a vehicle on a traffic stop and complained of chest pains. The male was taken to Kingwood ER. A short time later the ER called and stated the male had run out of the hospital with an IV in his arm. The male was later located and taken to jail.

A 24 year old male from Splendora was arrested at 1:14am, April 11, in the 24000 block of Loop 494 by Deputy L. Ray for a warrant out of Liberty County. The male was involved in a disturbance call at a lounge. The male was taken to jail.
A 26 year old male from Splendora was arrested at 10:47am, April 11, in the 28400 block of May Road by Deputy J. Armstrong for a theft by check warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was investigating a disturbance. The male was taken to jail.

A 32 year old male from Splendora was arrested at 7:06pm, April 11, in the area of FM 2090 and Morgan Drive by Deputy J. Chapa for two (2) warrants out of Montgomery County JP 4. The male was a passenger on a traffic stop. The male was taken to jail.

A 21 year old female from Porter was arrested at 8:08pm, April 12, in the 16400 block of Live Oak Square Drive by Deputy S. Ortiz for a forgery of financial instrument warrant and two theft by check warrants out of Liberty County. The Deputy was investigating a disturbance call. The female was transported to jail.

District 4 – Lt. Art Galloway (West County)

District 5 – Lt. Don Lacy (Northwest County)

On 04/04/2009 Dep. P. Rex was on patrol in the 400 block of Cape Conroe Drive when he observed a traffic violation. The deputy initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the driver and passenger of the vehicle. The driver was found to have an outstanding felony warrant for probation revocation and was taken into custody. The passenger showed obvious signs of being under of influence of unknown substances and asked to perform field sobriety tests. He was taken into custody for public intoxication. The passenger advised he had “smoked some marijuana.”

On 04/08/2008 Dep. A. Neeley and Dep. J. Farmer were dispatched to a disturbance in progress on Piper Lane. Upon investigation the deputies were advised by the subject’s father that he had arrived home to find his 18 year old son acting strangely. The father followed the son outside where he had to physically restrain the son to prevent him from harm. As the deputies were attempting to detain the son he refused to comply with commands. Upon detaining the subject he was found to have a clear plastic bag containing a multiple pills of a dangerous drug along with a knife in his pocket. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the MCSO Jail.

On 04/10/2009 Cpl. D. Wilkins responded to Crescent Drive in reference to the burglaries of two motor vehicles. Upon arrival the deputy met with the resident at the location who advised his pickup and SUV had both been burglarized. A semi-automatic handgun along with two radar detectors had been taken. There was no forced entry into either vehicle as the resident advised neither vehicle had been locked.

On 04/11/2009 Dep. D. Garner was dispatched to the Conroe ER in reference to an aggravated assault that had occurred during a disturbance on 04/10/2009. The victim’s spouse advised her husband had been at a pool hall and bar located on Highway 105 W the night before. While at the location the victim got into an argument with two males. The two males physically attacked her husband both inside the bar and in the parking lot. The male suspects fled the scene and the victim returned home. The victim had to be transported to the emergency room due to the extensive injuries to his face and head. Case referred to detectives

On 04/10/2009 Deputies C. Favorat and M. Jackson were advised of an intoxicated male who had left a location in the 17000 block of Walden Road. The deputies were able to locate the male who was riding a motorcycle near Walden Road and Hemingway. Dep. Jackson observed the motorcycle to weaving back and forth across the roadway. Upon stopping the vehicle contact was made with the driver who showed obvious signs of intoxication. The driver was taken into custody for DWI and transported to the MCSO Jail. The driver advised he was currently on probation for DWI, and it was found the driver had three prior convictions for DWI.

District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Town Center)

Theft/Shoplifting Arrest(s):
4/11 – Dep. Weatherford arrested a suspect, BF 19 at 3040 College Park Drive. The merchandise recovered was valued at $93.26. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

4/11 – Dep. Weatherford arrested a suspect, BF 17, at 3040 College Park Drive. The merchandise recovered was valued at $50. The suspect was also charged with Failure to Identify to a Peace Officer and was transported to the Montgomery County Jail..
Possession Controlled Substance or Marijuana Arrest(s):

4/6 – Dep. Godden arrested WF25 after a traffic stop on I-45. The suspect was found to be in possession of .50 oz. of Marijuana. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident
