MCPR was created in 2008 after Jamie left a newspaper that conflicted with her ethics. Initially, it was blog style website where Jamie wrote stories and posted them with photos. Scott provided video, and as the blog grew in popularity, businesses began to inquire about advertising. The blog soon transitioned to a news website, and then to a print newspaper, which was sold in over 100 stores, and through subscription for several years.
Scott Engle and Jamie Nash are Montgomery County residents and veteran law enforcement / breaking news reporters, who met covering a law enforcement story and have covered multiple counties, with Scott as a television videographer for multiple local stations and national networks, and Jamie as newspaper / magazine / online reporter.

I hope they prosecute EVERYONE involved. The sister and the guy that picked up the baby carrier and put it in the car. I hope they charge them with the same crime. CAPITAL MURDER. They knew what they were going to do at the pediatric office, they were well aware of the crime they were about to commit. Its sad.
:-) Very good to hear they have video being pulled! Perhaps I jumped the gun :-/ It is just such a tragic situation. I will continue to pray for the families affected and the officers dedicating their time and minds to find justice in this chaos. Thank you MCPD!
Witness accounts place 1 and 2, black and white .. not every witness account is fact, but what the person thought they saw .. quite normal, which is why the more witnesses they can get, the better chance of making sure they get correct info .. surv video is being sought from area businesses, many people are still being questioned .. if there was a second person, they will be found .. give law enforcement time to do what they need to do…
I am 100% confused as to how a witness put 2 people at the scene of the crime…but only one is being held accountable. Who cares if only the nurse fired the gun, the accomplice needs to be held equally accountable for going along for such an immoral, satanic, and soulless drive. This is inexcusable if Montgomery County does not seek this other person out immediately. The whole county is watching. Do us proud and please, and give us justice. Give that poor baby, who will one day be a man justice. Give that mother’s family justice.
