MCSO DISTRICT 1 ACTIVITY FOR LAST WEEK

District 1 – Lt. Kevin Ray (North County)

On August 3rd, Deputy Ford was dispatched to the area of Whippoorwill Road, for a vehicle disturbance. Upon arriving in the area, Deputy Ford found the vehicle and stopped it. The male driver was identified and found to have a warrant out of Montgomery County. The male was arrested and taken to the Montgomery County Jail.

On August 4th, Deputy Ford was dispatched to an address on Grand Oaks Drive, for a disturbance. Deputy Ford arrived and talked with the complainant. She learned that a 20 year old female was assaulted by a 44 year old female suspect at the house. The victim had visible injuries. The suspect was arrested for assault and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On August 5th, Deputy Savage was assisting another Deputy on East Williams Road, for a disturbance call. While there, Deputy Savage located and identified a male who had active warrants out of Montgomery County. The subject was arrested and taken to the Montgomery County Jail.

On August 6th, Deputy Campos was patrolling Interstate 45 when he observed a vehicle speeding and swerving. Deputy Campos stopped the vehicle and saw the driver displayed indicators of intoxication. After an investigation, the 21 year old female driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated. An adult passenger was also arrested for public intoxication.

On August 6th, Deputy Rollins responded to a suspicious person call on Dogwood Lane. When he arrived in the area of the call, he located a male who matched the description of the suspicious person. The male was identified and found to have a warrant out of Montgomery County. The male was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On August 7th, Deputy Ford was waved down by a male on Calvary Road. The male appeared to be intoxicated and disoriented. The male was trying to walk to Galveston, but became lost and headed in the wrong direction. The male was arrested for public intoxication and taken to the Montgomery County Jail.

On August 8th, Deputy Booher was dispatched to an attempt to locate on Highway 105 East, for a reckless driver. Deputy Booher located the vehicle traveling in the opposite direction and passing in a no passing zone. Deputy Booher attempted to stop the vehicle, but he refused to stop. A pursuit was called and the vehicle was pursued onto Willis Waukegan, where the driver came to a stop. The driver was intoxicated and was arrested for driving while intoxicated and evading.

On August 8th, Deputy Merlos was dispatched to a disturbance on Johnson Mallard Road. When he arrived, he met with the 22 year old complainant. The complainant informed Deputy Merlos his roommate assaulted him after an argument. The roommate left the house after the police were called. After completing the investigation, Deputy Merlos patrolled the area looking for the suspect. A short time later he located the suspect at the Valero at Loop 336 and FM 1314. The suspect was arrested for assault and taken to the Montgomery County Jail.

On August 9th, Deputy Parsons learned that a wanted person was living on Travis Lane, in Willis. Deputy Parsons responded to the last known address and made contact with the subject. The warrant out of Montgomery County was verified and the suspect was arrested.
