MCSO, DPS assist San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Department in Trails End

SJCSD PRESS RELEASE:

On Wednesday, the San Jacinto County Sheriffs Department made three felony arrests from two separate warrant services in the Trails End area of the county, which adjoins northeast Montgomery County.

The first location on Hicks Loop resulted in a felony traffic stop to take the driver into custody on an outstanding warrant. He was arrested without incident, and transported to the San Jacinto County jail. A search of his residence produced illegal narcotics which will be sent to the DPS lab for further analysis. Additional charges are pending.

In the second incident, the San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Department along with assistance from Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, and the Texas Department of Public Safety Auto Theft Division, served a warrant at a residence on Jayhawker Rd.

One male was immediately taken into custody, and a search of the property resulted in the recovery of items stolen from Harris, Montgomery and San Jacinto Counties, with values totaling over $ 50,000.

A second male was taken into custody after he drove up to the scene to speak with deputies regarding a juvenile. The male was found to be in possession of what appeared to be crack cocaine.
