The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce that training equipment has been received as a result of a grant that the NRA Foundation had approved earlier in the year.
The equipment, (10) Glock 17T FX Generation 4 training pistols, (simunition training pistols), will be utilized by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Training Academy for the purpose of enabling reality-based tactical operations training using color marking or plastic projectile ammunition.
The grant was approved by the NRA Foundation Board of Trustees in February of 2015. The NRA Foundation provided funding in the amount of $4,559.95 for the purchase of the equipment to be utilized for training.
