MCSO Seeks Help Identifying Church Vandal

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX- The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a case of criminal mischief at St. Martha’s Catholic Church.

On Saturday, June 7, around 10:35 p.m., a suspect vandalized two statues at the church, located at 4301 Woodridge Parkway in Porter. The individual knocked the heads off the statues and stole them before fleeing the scene.

Surveillance footage captured the suspect arriving in a gray or silver hatchback or small SUV. The vehicle was last seen entering the Woodridge Subdivision. The suspect wore a black shirt with white lettering on the back and a headlamp at the time of the incident.

The Sheriff’s Office released an image of the suspect vehicle and urges anyone with information to come forward. Tipsters can contact the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office at 936-521-8971.
