District 1 – Lt. Jim Fleming (North County)

On January 11, Deputy J. Reuvers with assistance from other Deputies acted on a Crime Stoppers tip in the 10900 block of Newton Circle. The Deputies were seeking a female with an outstanding felony warrant. They went to the location and were met at the door by a female who denied the wanted female was inside the residence several times and would not allow them entry. The Deputies with a warrant entered and found the wanted female hiding in a back bedroom. The 47 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 7:02pm for a felony bond forfeiture warrant out of Montgomery County. The other female, 55 years old, was also arrested and charged with hindering apprehension. Both females were taken to jail.

On January 12, Deputy S. Squier stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the area of FM 1097 W and Lake Conroe Hills. The male driver was found to be operating the vehicle with an invalid driver’s license and no proof of insurance. The 33 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 4:20am and transported to jail.

A 37 year old male from Willis was arrested at 1:10am, January 13, in the 16400 block of Lochness Drive by Deputy K. Berger for two warrants out of Richmond PD, the first warrant was for unlawful carrying a weapon and the second was for evading arrest with a vehicle. The male was transported to jail.

On January 13, Deputy J. Kader stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the area of Wiggins Road and Wigginsville Road. The male driver was found to be operating the vehicle with an invalid driver’s license. The male also had a previous conviction for the same offense. The 32 year old male from Porter was arrested at 3:59pm, charged with driving with license invalid with prior conviction and was transported to jail.

On January 13, Deputy J. Hodges was notified of a family violence assault call in the 11100 block of FM 1484. The Deputy met with a male complainant who advised he had been assaulted by his daughter. The male heard an argument going on and intervened between his daughter and his wife. The daughter lashed out at him, cursing and yelling at him. She then struck him on the face and took several more swings at him. He advised he was hit on the back of the head with an unknown object. She started pulling his hair until he was able to get away from her. The female left the location and was located by Deputy J. Bourne who detained her. The 22 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 9:53pm and transported to jail.

On January 16, Deputies J. Reuvers and S. Degner were sent to the 13600 block of Forest West Drive in reference to a family violence assault. The Deputies met with a male complainant and his mother. The mother stated her son, the complainant, and her boyfriend had gotten into a physical altercation and she had called 9-1-1. The boyfriend had struck the male complainant on the side of the head with a claw hammer. The complainant was transported to the hospital. The 59 year old suspect male from Conroe was arrested at 7:40pm, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and taken to jail.

A 35 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 4:15pm, January 15, in the 9500 block of Airport Road by Deputy A. Booher for two warrants out of Montgomery County, one for theft and the other for fraudulent possession of controlled substance. The Deputy had been given prior information on the male’s location. The male was taken to jail.

A 48 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 3:03pm, January 16, in the area of FM 1484 and Hwy 105 by Deputy A. Terrell for a theft by check warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was assisting at an accident scene. The female was transported to jail.

District 2 – Lt. Brady Fitzgerald (South County)

On January 10, 2011, Deputy Fruge responded to an Assault/Family Violence call on Douglass Fir. Deputy Fruge met with all parties involved and determined that an assault had taken place and the suspect, a 48-year-old male was arrested for Class A Assault Family Violence. The other party to the altercation received a citation for disorderly conduct.

On January 13, 2011, Deputy Maldonado and Sergeant Barber were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle call on Hallimore Drive. Upon arrival, they made contact with the driver, 23-year-old female from Spring, who had an unsteady balance, bloodshot eyes and an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from her breath. During the course of the investigation, the suspect was found to be in possession of marijuana. The passenger in the vehicle, 27-year-old male from Spring, was also exhibiting an unsteady balance, bloodshot eyes, and an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath. Both suspects were charged with Public Intoxication and Possession of Marijuana. The passenger was also charged with Failure to Identify for giving the Deputies a fictitious name to avoid being arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant. Both were transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On January 15, 2011, Deputy Swank responded to a call regarding a suspicious males hanging around the parking lot and looking in cars at 425 Rayford Road. Upon arrival, Deputy Swank made contact with one male, 18 years old, who appeared very nervous and hesitated answering any questions. While talking with the suspect, the suspect told Deputy Swank he had marijuana on his person and in his apartment. Fifteen clear bags containing marijuana were located by Deputy Swank. The suspect was taken into custody, charged with Possession of Marijuana, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On January 16, 2011, Deputy Fruge arrested a 39-year-old male from Conroe for Credit Card Abuse at 25550 IH-45. The suspect had used two stolen credit cards to purchase $250 worth of gift cards. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On January 16, 2011, Deputy Wakefield responded to a Burglary of a Habitation on Darby Loop. Upon arrival, he met with the homeowner who stated that his neighbor called and said he had seen someone entering a back window of his house. Deputy Wakefield found the suspect, 23-year-old male from Magnolia, hiding under the house. The suspect had cut two sections of copper wiring from the home. The suspect was taken into custody, charged with Burglary of a Habitation and with an outstanding warrant for his arrest.

District 3 – Lt. Darrel Conn (East County)

On 1/13/11 Sgt. D. Miller received information about suspects possibly stripping parts from a stolen vehicle in the 17000 block of Springfield Dr. He arrived and observed a truck leaving the area carrying the stolen parts. The suspect, a 25 year old male from Conroe was arrested and charged with Theft and several other warrants.

On 1/13/11 Deputy White conducted a traffic stop at FM 1314 and Loop 494 for a vehicle having expired registration. The driver of the vehicle was found to have a suspended license. The suspect, a 36 year old male from New Caney was arrested and charged with Driving While License Invalid.

On 1/13/11 Deputy Durrenberger was dispatched to Maple St. in reference to an assault call. Upon his arrival he met with the victim who stated that the suspect attacked her causing injuries. The suspect grabbed the victim by the hair and hit her in the face and then when on the ground kicked her in the face and body. A second suspect also kicked the female when she was on the ground. The two suspects, a 33 year old female and 33 year old male both from Porter were arrested and charged with Assault.

On 1/14/11 Deputy Azwell was dispatched to the 17000 block of McDonald Ct. in reference to a Threat call. Upon his arrival he met with the complainant and learned that the suspect had threatened her with a pistol. The suspect, a 25 year old male from Conroe was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault.

On 1/15/11 Deputy Amstutz observed a male on Flanders Dr. operating a dirt bike on the road jumping curbs and driving fast. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver had a suspended driver’s license. The suspect, a 26 year old male from Porter was arrested and charged with Driving While License Suspended.

On 1/16/11 Deputy Ortiz was dispatched to the Porter Walmart in reference to a shoplifter call. Upon arrival he arrested a 37 year old male from Porter for Theft of $127 worth of property from the store.

On 1/17/11 Deputy Guion was dispatched to the 23000 block of FM 1485 in reference to a Theft call. Upon investigation he found that two suspects had illegally hooked up wires to the power line and were stealing electricity. The two suspects, 33 and 41 year old males from New Caney were both arrested and charged with Theft of Service.

On 1/18/11 Deputy Amstutz was dispatched to a reckless driver call on Hwy. 59 in which the driver was travelling at a high rate of speed, changing lanes without signaling and almost striking several vehicles. Other vehicles had to take evasive action to avoid collision. The traffic stop was then conducted and the driver was found to have a suspended license. The suspect, a 55 year old male from Houston was arrested and charged with Reckless Driving and Driving While License Suspended.

District 4 – Lt. David Park (West County)

On January 17th Deputy Crandell was dispatched to the Hazy Hollow subdivision in reference to a Suspicious Person. Upon arrival the Deputy observed a female run that ran when she saw the deputy. The Deputy pursued the subject and she was taken into custody for Evading and when Dispatch ran her she had four active warrants against her. The subject was transported to the Montgomery County Jail Female Booking.

On January 17th Deputy Provenzano was at SH 249 and Hardin Store Road when the gas station attendant notified him of a man that had been in his truck in the parking lot for several hours. The Deputy made contact with the 20 year old male subject and observed him to have red blood shot eyes. The Deputy asked the subject if he had been drinking and he stated he had not but had been smoking Marijuana. The subject showed the Deputy where the Marijuana was located in his vehicle. The Subject was taken into custody and charged with Possession of Marijuana and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On January 16th Deputy Mittag was dispatched to the Spurs Country and Western Dance Hall on FM 1488 for a Disturbance Call involving two males. Upon arrival Deputy Mittag made contact with one of the subject’s a 31 year old male who smelled alcoholic beverage on his breath and person. The subject stated he did get into a fight with another patron of the bar, a 44 year old male subject. Because of the subject’s current state of intoxication and being a clear danger to himself and others the Deputy took the subject into custody for Public Intoxication. The other male subject was also arrested for Public Intoxication and the two were transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On January 13th Sergeant Sumrall was dispatched to the 8600 Block of Matthews Lane. The caller told Dispatch advised a female subject had backed into a mailbox and appeared to be intoxicated. Upon arrival Sergeant Sumrall met with the witness who had taken the subject’s keys from her because she believed the subject to be intoxicated. The subject was unaware of where she was. After performing a Standard Field Sobriety Test on the subject she was arrested for DWI and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On January 12th Sergeant Russell was dispatched to a Welfare Check in the 32000 Block of SH 249 in reference to a female subject pushing a shopping cart through a parking lot. Upon arrival and making contact with the 28 year old female the Sergeant noticed a strong alcoholic odor coming from the subject. The subject was charged with Public Intoxication and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On January 11th Sergeant Hernandez was dispatched to Virgie Community Drive and Hardin Store Road in reference to a Traffic Hazard on the railroad tracks. Upon arrival the Sergeant made contact with two male subjects standing outside their vehicle. The Sergeant also observed the train that had stopped 100 feet south of their vehicle. Both subjects self-admitted to consuming alcohol and smoking marijuana. They had gotten lost and in their attempt to turn around got stuck on the railroad tracks. Both subjects were taken into custody for Public Intoxication and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

District 5 – Lt. Gary Welch (Northwest County)

On January 15th Deputy Rex responded to a convenience store located in the 5600 block of FM 1486 N in regards to Trespassing. It was learned that a male subject on location had refused to leave the premises after being asked several times by the clerk. The male was subsequently arrested for Criminal Trespass, Misdemeanor B and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

On January 16th Deputy Farmer responded to the 700 block of Shawnee Dr. in regards to an Assault. Investigation revealed that a mother and her juvenile daughter had been involved in a verbal altercation that became physical when the mother was physically assaulted by her daughter. The daughter was arrested for Assault (Family Violence), Misdemeanor A and placed into the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Facility.

On January 16th Deputy Fluellen responded to the 13600 block of Steamboat Springs in regards to Trespassing. It was learned that that someone had entered into a residence without the owner’s permission. A subject matching the description given by witnesses was located in the area and detained for questioning. After learning that this was the subject responsible for entering the residence, the subject was arrested for Criminal Trespass (Habitation), Misdemeanor A and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

On January 17th Deputy Davis conducted a Traffic Stop in the 15000 block of SH 105 W. on a vehicle for driving without headlamps when required. Upon making contact with the male driver it was suspicioned that he may be under the influence of alcohol. The driver was administered several standard field sobriety tests and subsequently arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, Misdemeanor B and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

On January 17th Deputy Garner responded to the 9800 block of Lake Shore Dr. in regards to an Assault. The female Complainant reported that her husband was intoxicated and had assaulted her several times during a physical altercation. The husband was arrested for Assault (Family Violence), Misdemeanor C and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)

On January 7, 2011, Deputy Ansley responded to a Theft call at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. Deputy Ansley met with the Loss Prevention officer who stated that after an internal investigation it was found that the store manager, 32-year-old male from the Woodlands, had conducted numerous fraudulent returns and pocketed the money. During the course of the investigation, it was found that the suspect had conducted over 42 transactions totaling $3952. The suspect was taken into custody charged with Aggregate Theft, and was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On January 10, 2011, Deputy Hollan and Deputy Weatherford were dispatched to 1201 Lake Woodlands in reference to a Criminal Trespass. Mall Security Officers reported that they found the suspect, 19-year-old male from The Woodlands, on the roof of the Mall. The suspect stated he had climbed over a gate to gain access to the roof. The gate is clearly marked “No Unauthorized Personnel.” The suspect was taken into custody for Criminal Trespassing. During a search of the suspect, incident to the arrest, he was found to be in possession of marijuana. Additional charges for Possession of Marijuana were added, and the suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

The following Shoplifting Arrests were reported:

1/11 – Deputy Weatherford arrested a 20-year-old female and an 18-year-old female from Houston for Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspects attempted to take $137.00 worth of merchandise from Macy’s. The suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

1/14 – Deputy Foreman arrested a 25-year-old female from Conroe for Theft at 3040 College Park Drive. The suspect attempted to take $5.48 worth of grocery items from Wal-Mart. Deputy Foreman found during his investigation that the suspect had two prior convictions for theft. He then contacted the District Attorney’s Office and advised them of the situation. Due to the previous convictions, the current theft charge was enhanced to a State Jail Felony. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

1/14 – Deputy Martin arrested a 17-year-old female from Spring for Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspects attempted to take $98.96 worth of merchandise from Urban Outfitters. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

1/17 – Deputy Rizk arrested a 19-year-old male from Houston for Theft at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspects attempted to take $340.00 worth of merchandise from Dillard’s. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
