Mechanic Allegedly Decided to Keep Someone’s Vehicle

HARRIS COUNTY, TX- On July 8, Deputies with Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the 13400 block of Lynville Drive in reference to a Flock Safety Alert of a stolen vehicle.

Upon arriving, deputies found the stolen vehicle in the driveway of a residence and found a suspect nearby. He was detained and identified as Erickson Nadal.

Further investigation revealed he took the vehicle from the owner to do mechanical work, but after several months, refused to return the vehicle.

“Erickson Nadal was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. His bond has been set at $1,000 out of the 337th District Court,” Constable Mark Herman said.
