MEDIA HELPS BRING ANOTHER SEXUAL PREDATOR TO JUSTICE

The Conroe Police Department sent a press release on 11-4-13 in reference to the Online Solicitation investigations conducted by the Conroe Police Department in conjunction with Montgomery County Precinct 1 Constables Office, Montgomery County Precinct 2 Constables Office, and the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, during the month of October. Due to the media coverage of the story, a relative of one of the suspects, Daniel Taylor (age 28), became suspicious, because her 14 year old daughter spent time with Taylor during this past summer. The woman spoke with her daughter and learned that Taylor had inappropriate sexual contact with her daughter. The woman contacted the Conroe Police Department and a joint investigation with CPD, Precincts 1 and 2 Constables Office, Montgomery County DA’s Office and Children’s Safe Harbor was conducted. As a result of the investigation, a warrant was issued on November 8^th for Daniel Taylor for Indecency with a Child. Conroe Police Officers served the warrant on the same date and arrested Taylor. Taylor is currently in the Montgomery Co. Jail with a $100,000 bond
