WEST MONTGOMERY COUNTY- Police theorize 42-year-old Larry Price, Jr. had a heart attack before crashing into a tree on Coe Loop in Magnolia in the early hours of Tuesday.
Trooper Aldridge, with the Texas Department of Public Safety, said the man was traveling at the posted speed limit or below when his pickup left the roadway for unknown reasons and struck a tree.
Aldridge said there was not a lot of damage to the vehicle and no visible marks on the driver, who was the only occupant.
CPR was started on the scene and the victim was transported to Tomball Regional Hospital where he later died.
Aldridge said his agency was awaiting autopsy results, which are scheduled to be available on Wednesday, to determine exactly what killed Price.
