Montgomery County Constable Pct. 4 Deputies served 12 evictions and 3 writs throughout East Montgomery County. Numerous suspects were arrested, clearing 57JP4 warrants, 5 Montgomery County warrants,1 Brazoria County warrant,1 Polk County warrant and 1 blue warrant (parole revocation).
No Driver’s License, No Insurance, No Way!
15 vehicles were towed in East Montgomery County because 10 drivers had no license and/or no insurance, 4 drivers were arrested, 1 driver was arrested and had no license or insurance and 1 stolen vehicle was recovered following a pursuit and capture.

Next time, sleep it off at home
On August 7, around 11:30 p.m., Deputy E. Rivera and Houston Police Department Cpl. Fernandez responded to a welfare check on a white male who was reported to be unconscious in a vehicle in a parking lot located at 350 Northpark Drive between Loop 494 and Hwy 59. They found 42-year-old Terry Ray Eschenbacher of New Caney, asleep behind the wheel of a 2005 Ford F-150 pickup that was taking up two spaces. After several knocks on the driver’s side window, Eschenbacher awoke and responded to officers, who noticed a strong odor of alcohol and two open containers of Vodka on the driver’s side floor board. Eschenbacher showed multiple signs of impairment and admitted he had too much to drink. He was arrested for public intoxication.
You can run but you can’t hide
On August 3, after receiving information that a stolen vehicle was in the area of the Silver Trails Subdivision in New Caney, multiple deputies checked the area and found a maroon SUV at the intersection of Leonard and Penny that matched the description, a check of the license plate confirmed it was a stolen vehicle. Several deputies tried to stop the vehicle as it entered the ballpark at Leonard and Penny, but the vehicle quickly diverted through the yard of a residence, running over and breaking support cables to the light poles at the intersection. Deputy J. Chapa traveled southbound on Penny, with emergency lights activated, but the vehicle met and went past his patrol car at a high rate of speed, at which point Deputy Chapa initiated a pursuit. The suspect vehicle turned east on McCleskey Road and again drove through the yard of a residence where it crashed through a wooden fence, then continued until striking a tree on another private property. The driver, later identified as 31-year-old Justin Lynn Miller, of Cleveland, then left the vehicle and fled on foot. Other deputies assisted in the foot pursuit and Miller was eventually captured, and even then, he resisted arrest. Inside the vehicle, deputies found methamphetamine (5.1 grams) and marijuana (.25 ounces) inside the vehicle, along with assorted paraphernalia. Miller is charged with evading in a vehicle (state jail felony); possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (first degree felony); unauthorized use of a motor vehicle (state jail felony); criminal mischief (state jail felony) and bond forfeiture.
