MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX- In the early hours of Sunday, Deputies with Precinct 5 Constable Chris Jones’s Office made a traffic stop at 1079 Woodtrace Blvd. The driver, Joshua Turner, had an outstanding felony warrant from another county, and was found in possession of methamphetamine. Deputies booked Turner and transported him to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.
Joshua Aaron Turner, 43, of Gilmer is charged with third-degree felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1/1-B, more than 1 gram but less than 4 grams and state jail felony fraud (warrant). Bond was already set at $10,000 for the out-of-county warrant. Bond hadn’t been set for the local charge as of this post.
