METRO POLICE OFFICER BUSTED FOR SEXUAL PERFORMANCE WITH A CHILD

On June 10, 2025, a Precinct 1 Investigator assigned to the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force was conducting a proactive online investigation, during which the investigators made contact with a suspect who requested nude photographs of an 8-year-old female. Investigators with The ICAC Task Force was able to identify the suspect while another investigator engaged the suspect using another undercover profile. Investigators were able to identify the suspect as Gabriel Thomas Slusher, a Houston
Metro Police Officer. Investigators relayed this information to the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, which issued a warrant for Slusher’s arrest. On June 12, 2025, the Montgomery County ICAC Task Force requested the assistance of the United States Marshals Service to append the suspect. At approximately 2:30 PM, the suspect was arrested on the warrant for “Attempt to Commit Sexual Performance by a Child under 14 years of age, Second Degree Felony. Following the arrest, the suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
Houston Metro Police were notified of the arrest and are supporting the Montgomery County ICAC Task Force’s investigation. Constable Cash expresses gratitude to our law enforcement partners for their prompt

Arrested: Gabriel Thomas Slusher, W/M, DOB: 07/5/1997 of League City, Texas. Mr. Slusher is currently in Montgomery County Jail on a warrant for Attempt to Commit Sexual Performance by a Child under 14 years of age, Second Degree Felony; 100,000 Bond.
