Roman Forest Police are hoping the public can assist them in locating a 17-year-old from that city who is believed to be with a 34-year-old man with whom she interacted on social media. He is a repeat offender / convicted felon with a history of violence and an affinity for teenage girls.
The man, Michael Brent Sewell, has also repeatedly been in the news. One of his “15 minutes of fame” was the result of a sex tape and another, occurring last year, when the 34-year-old’s teenage wife was reported missing.
The missing Roman Forest teen’s mother contacted Roman Forest Police around 9 a.m. after realizing her daughter was missing. Facebook messages between the pair provided information indicating they would be together. Since the police report was made, both Facebook accounts were removed.
Sewell has a history of violence, according to police and his criminal record, including an arrest in Montgomery County involving an alleged assault on a family member that involved choking.
His name may be familiar to readers, however, because of a sex tape. In May 2012, Sewell was arrested and charged with felony Improper Photography / Video after uploading a sex video to YouTube, showing him and his ex-girlfriend. She said Sewell threatened to post the video online if she stopped seeing him, and when she did, he followed through. Sewell maintained the pair had hopes of getting into the pornography business.
He granted an interview to KHOU Channel 11 (Click here to view) to defend himself.
Another publication posted some disturbing images of Sewell with the sex tape story. The site is not in English, but it can be translated with a right click, using Google Chrome. The text may be unnecessary, however, since the photos speak for themselves.
Sewell again found himself in the spotlight in 2013 when his then 18-year-old wife “disappeared” on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. She later resurfaced, and Sewell claimed she was never really missing. That teen reportedly had a restraining order against him for allegedly choking her. They have since divorced.

Sewell has lived in Grangerland and Kingwood, and is currently a resident of the state of Kansas, where police fear he may be taking the Roman Forest teen.
Sewell is believed to be driving a white 2004 Dodge pickup, with a Kobalt toolbox in the back.
