Cut and Shoot along with North Montgomery Fire Departments were dispatched to a grass and woods fire just after 1:00 p.m. in the 11300 block of Newton off East Williams. When the first trucks arrived they discovered not a grass and woods fire but a mobile home that had already burned to the ground and was spreading toe the surrounding wooded area.
The mobile home has been abandon for at least five years and there was no power connected to it. The Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
