About 1 p.m. Friday North Montgomery County Fire Department responded to a residential fire in the 1800 block of North Acres near African Hill. Arriving units reported a mobile home totally involved. Firefighters were able to quickly bring the fire under control, however the home was destroyed.
The homeowner stated the power had gone off earlier in the morning and then came back on. The Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office investigated and was unable to determine a cause, They did say it did not seem suspicious in nature,
