With such powerful technology in the hands of all of us, it is incredible how lost our world has become. In the same year science has expanded our awareness of the universe, we have witness of profound collapse in the direction in our societies, families and personal lives. No longer do we measure right and wrong on a static sure standard, as humanity has throughout time.
Today everything is relative. Right and wrong is determined solely by how one “feels” about it. Emotion is the benchmark by which action is deemed good or bad, right or wrong. Without a solid code of ethics as a magnetic pole our proverbial moral compass can’t and don’t work.
Turning to our compass that God is given to each of us, by checking our bearings and it readings will show us the way…….
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not unto your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your path”. (Proverbs 3: 5 & 6)
It is easy to get lost in a storm or when you find yourself in an unfamiliar area on life’s journey or when there is an unexpected turn in the road, like a failed relationship, a poor diagnosis or an unplanned financial dilemma. No matter what lies ahead on your journey, it may not make sense to your own understanding or human reasoning, but always trust Him & always follow your moral and godly compass and He Shall Direct Your Path…..Why? Because He loves you and cares about what path you are on and He freely gives what tools you need to find your way in His Word, the compass.
