One of our PCT 4 Deputies stopped a vehicle that decided to show off with a burnout and launch out of a gas station like it was race day at Daytona. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t.
Turns out the driver was already beat up, covered in his own blood, and smelled like he lost a drinking contest with himself.
After a quick investigation (and a long list of poor decisions), he was arrested for DWI. Oh and his car? Seized. Because Texas law doesn’t play around.
Moral of the story: Don’t drink and drive. Don’t burn out at gas stations. And don’t do both while looking like you just lost a fight with a cactus. He had several prior arrests.

Here’s another person who never seems to learn because our courts are often too easy on drunk drivers. I can understand giving someone a break but this guy’s and others’ drunk driving records are ridiculous and they’re a danger to the public. Habitual drunk drivers need to serve some hard time and maybe they’ll learn. But even if they don’t learn anything they’ll be off the street for that period of time.
Come on….He did a burn out? in that toyota 4runner? Are you sure he wasn’t dragging the emergency brake….
