At about 11 am Saturday morning Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies attempted to stop catalytic converter thieves at The Woodlands Mall. A pursuit ensued. Due to heavy traffic, the fleeing vehicle was lost close to Beltway 8. A short time later Harris County found the vehicle crashed out off Richey Road and the suspects had fled on foot.
