Early Wednesday evening Montgomery County call takers received several calls on a black Chevrolet Suburban unable to maintain lanes and driving erratic on Woodlands Parkway. An alert Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy spotted the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop near Kuykendahl. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Montgomery County Precinct 3 Commissioner James Noack’s wife, Lori Noack, age 50, of Spring. Noack who was very uncooperative with law enforcement was arrested and has been booked into the Montgomery County Jail on a charge of Driving While Intoxicated with an open container and resisting arrest search or transportation. She will appear before a magistrate on Thursday to set a bond. Montgomery County once again has instituted a no-refusal weekend. This means blood warrants will be issued to draw blood on DWI arrests.
Noack’s Attorney, Morgan Bourque sent a statement: We have been made aware of Mrs. Noack’s arrest and is in the process of posting her bond and working to get her released from custody. It is early in the case. Neither the facts nor the evidence have been evaluated. There was no collision reported. Certainly, the citizens of Montgomery County understand that Mrs. Noack is presumed innocent and that the presumption continues throughout the case.
