Montgomery County Community Development is accepting applications for the Community Development Block Grant Housing Rehabilitation Program through September 28, 2018. This program does not include assistance for any previous disaster related damages such as Hurricane Ike, 2016 Tax Day or Memorial Day floods or Hurricane Harvey. Eligible applicants are homeowners who live outside the city limits of Conroe who have a low-moderate combined household income AND have legal ownership of their own property with a clear deed and/or title. Home rehabilitation such as roof leaks, HVAC, sheetrock repairs, flooring repairs, and plumbing and electrical issues may qualify for repairs. This is a voluntary program. Eligibility does not guarantee assistance.
