The Montgomery County Community Foundation awarded a $15,000 grant to Montgomery County Emergency Assistance to fund temporary emergency rent assistance for Montgomery County families experiencing an unexpected financial crisis. Montgomery County Emergency Assistance is a nonprofit agency that has been in service to the community since 1981 offering real life solutions to our Montgomery County neighbors facing a temporary financial crisis. MCEA offers assistance for rent, utilities, food, clothing, and other basic needs. Montgomery County Emergency Assistance is a funded partner of Montgomery County United Way.
