MONTGOMERY COUNTY – Montgomery County Public Health District, in conjunction with Montgomery County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, can regrettably confirm an additional death related to COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths to 41. A man in his 60s, from Conroe, died in the hospital. He had co-morbidities in addition to testing positive for COVID-19. We offer our condolences to his family.
We can also confirm the total number of COVID-19 cases increased by 131 to 3,007 cases in Montgomery County. ACTIVE cases of COVID-19 increased to 1,040. Of the 1,040 active cases who are Montgomery County residents, 41 are in the hospital. 1,926 people have fully recovered.
This weekend, take steps to slow the spread of COVID-19. Avoid groups of people. Wear a mask (if it is necessary to be in public), wash your hands or use hand sanitizer frequently, disinfect surfaces in your car and around your home, and practice social distancing.
