Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy Brandy Bice and four members of the Montgomery County Crime Stoppers Board traveled to McAllen, TX October 25, 2011 for the 23rd Annual Texas Crime Stoppers Convention. As the Crime Stoppers Coordinator, Deputy Bice was presented the award for the Greatest Dollar Recovery and the Most Cases Cleared for 2010. This is the first time in the County’s 30 year involvement with Crime Stoppers that this award has been won. Deputy Bice was also personally recognized as one of only 4 law enforcement officers selected for consideration as the Crime Stoppers Coordinator of the Year. Deputy Bice brings great credit upon herself, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and the State of Texas through her tireless efforts to ensure the removal of dangerous felons from our streets. This is a direct reflection of Deputy Bice’s personal dedication to duty. Her actions in promoting Crime Stoppers through the board, personal appearances, and multiple media outlets have proven invaluable to our County.
