Montgomery County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management Partners w/ MCSO

Over the past two weeks, the Montgomery County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management has been proud to partner with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office to deliver two important emergency preparedness exercises for our community.
Last week, we conducted a full-scale exercise focused on the response to a critical incident. This large, coordinated drill brought together multiple agencies—including Law Enforcement, Fire Departments, EMS, and our county dispatch centers—to strengthen interoperability and ensure a unified, effective response during critical incidents.
This past week, we followed up with a countywide tabletop exercise involving all Montgomery County school districts. This discussion-based session helped enhance communication and reinforce the strong relationships between our schools and the first responder agencies that would support them during an emergency.
We are incredibly grateful for our continued partnership with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office as we work together to coordinate and deliver top-tier training for all stakeholders across the county. We also extend our sincere thanks to all county first responder agencies, state partners, and supporting organizations whose collaboration made these exercises a success.
Preparedness is a team effort—and Montgomery County continues to demonstrate what strong partnerships can achieve.
