Montgomery County Precinct 3, Commissioner James Noack hosted a meeting with Constable Precinct 3, Montgomery County Sheriff Office Districts 2 & 6, The Woodlands, Timber Lake Timber Ridge, and South County Fire Departments, and The Montgomery County Hospital District to prepare for this weekend’s potential weather event.
Commissioner Noack has deployed various precinct vehicles, signs and emergency equipment to quickly respond when needed. “Our office is prepared for the worst. I have full trust in my team and we stand ready to address the situation,” stated Commissioner Noack. Commissioner Noack advises residents to stay at home if possible and will continue to advise as the situation develops.
“Our office will be doing routine patrols through the Spring Creek area and will provide continuous updates,” stated Precinct 3 Constable Ryan Gable.
Precinct 3 residents are encouraged to be aware of the weather updates and do not hesitate to evacuate if needed. “South County Fire has a full staff on duty. We have two areas that generally, when we get this amount of rain, will have some flooding potential. We will be watching these areas closely and will be ready to deploy of necessary. We have two operational boats ready to deploy at any moment,” said Fire Chief Robert Hudson.
If you approach a flooded roadway, TURN AROUND DO NOT DROWN.
