MONTGOMERY COUNTY PRECINCT 4 CONSTABLES ARREST LOUISIANA HOMICIDE SUSPECT

Tuesday night Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constables responded to a call at a hotel on I-69 near Kingwood for a shirtless male walking outside with a AR-15. Units arrived and attempted to ID the male. There were no warrants found on him. Management told deputies he wanted them to leave. The male asked permission to go inside and get a refund if they were not being allowed to stay. As he did that deputies were attempting to id a female that was with him. The male went inside, asked the clerk to use the restroom, and walked out the back door. Deputies ran the female who gave her name and was also clear. Deputies decided to run fingerprints on the female since they felt she was giving a false name. When they did they discovered she was giving false information and her male companion had also done the same possibly. When they used the portable fingerprint identification system they discovered her real name was Monica Monae Johnson, 21, of Natchitoches, Louisiana. She also was wanted for a homicide there. She was arrested. Deputies then attempted to locate the male who had fled the scene. In reviewing the security video they were alerted to a point before they arrived where the male who was in a Chrysler 300 was parked next to a green Charger and speaking with its occupant. An attempt to locate went out and a short time later a deputy spotted the Charger leaving Whataburger on North Park. The vehicle was stopped and searched. In the truck, they found the male that fled. Using the portable fingerprint reader they were able to identify him as Levunte Jackson, 23, of Campti, Louisiana. He had warrants out of Harris County on two misdemeanor bond forfeitures. He was arrested on those warrants and additionally felon in possession of a firearm and manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance. The driver of the green Charger, Kylar Lytrell Beard, 22, of Natchez, Louisiana was also arrested for hindering the apprehension of a known felon, two bond forfeiture warrants, possession of marijuana, and evading arrest. When deputies searched the Chrysler 300 at the hotel they found several washed checks and a check for $11,500 that Johnson had attempted to cash. In addition, they found 320 grams of ecstasy pills which tested positive for both fentanyl and meth. They discovered the vehicle was registered to Johnson’s mother in Louisiana. All three were arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
