Montgomery Couty Precinct 4 Constable Rowdy Hayden has added several pickup trucks to his patrol fleet. These trucks have proven to be helpful in swift water rescues and transporting equipment. They have also proven effective in pursuing suspects who otherwise would have gotten away by traveling off-road. Recent dash cam video shows that is no longer the case. Several weeks ago the pursuit ended when the 17-year-old, Ryan Allen Fath, jumped into the San Jacinto River which was flowing after the heavy downpours. With the 53-degree water and heavy clothing, Fath came close to drowning had it not been for A Precinct 4 Deputy and DPS Trooper who pulled him out of the water. The other male, identified as Aaron Jacob Dowies, was tracked and captured by K-9 a short time later. Both suspects are well known to law enforcement.
